Recently, a report titled "IPBES Global Assessment" was released by the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform (IPBES) on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Service. This report has been prepared by 145 expert authors from 50 countries. According to this report, 1 million species of animals and plants in the world are on the brink of extinction, these species can be extinct in a few decades. This list includes 40% amphibious species, 33% reef-making corals and one-third of marine mammals. The main reason is pollution, destruction of natural habitat and carbon emissions.  



Recently, the scientists of CSIR did a genetic study of the inhabitants of which island?

Recently, scientists first studied the inhabitants of Lakshadweep residents. This study was done by a team of scientists of the Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology of CSIR (Scientific and Industrial Research Council). 

The main point is that the scientists studied Kadmat, Andorth, Chetlat, Agatti, Kalpeni, Bitra, Kiltan and Minicoy Island. Scientists studied the DNA samples of 557 people of eight islands for the study of mitochondrial DNA and 166 people for the DNA of the Y chromosome marker. 
It was believed that people of Lakshadweep probably had genetic properties similar to ancient people like Andamanese and Australian tribal people. But this new study has shown that Lakshadweep people have similar genetic properties like South Asia, there is little effect in East and West Eurasia too.

According to this study, the close genetic link to the people of Lakshadweep is from the people of Maldives, Sri Lanka and India.

World Health Organization recently released "Global Status Report on Road Safety". According to this report, the main causes of death among people of 5 to 29 years are road accidents. Every year 1.35 million people die due to road accidents, 50 million people are injured every year due to road accidents.

After 2008, the highest number of deaths in the world is due to road accidents in India. India has also signed Brasilia Declaration on Road Accident, in which India has expressed commitment to reduce 50% of the deaths in road accidents by 2020. 

According to the Government of India data, 150,000 people die every year due to road accidents in the country. But according to the World Health Organization, this figure is 2,99,000 per annum.

The film will be directed by famous filmmaker Shyam Benegal, for which the screenplay will be written by Atul Tiwari.

Apart from this, Prasar Bharati also agreed to bring Bangladesh TV free on DD Free Direction platform. Bangladesh also announced the broadcast of India's Doordarshan channel on DTH in Bangladesh. All India Radio and Bangladesh Wireless have also announced to work together.

Main points 

This list contains the names of people of Indian origin who cite persecution in India and seek refuge in another country. The people of Indian origin who seek refuge in this type of community have a lot of people in the Sikh community. 

The people in this list are not given visa by the Indian Mission (Indian Embassy).

Those people of Indian origin (and members of their family) who have taken shelter in another country and do not have their name in the "black list", they will get a visa from India like the resident of the country of residence. If their visas for the last two years are normal, they can get the Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) card. 

Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) card is a migrant status, this allows foreign nationals of Indian origin to remain indefinitely in India and can work here.
