Eligibility |
Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MTech in Dr Shyama Prasd Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology Pass B.E./B.Tech. with minimum 60% marks in related stream with minimum valid score. Selection Process: Valid Sore in GATE. Eligible Applicants admitted to M.Tech. programme will receive a monthly Institute scholarship of Rs.12,400/-.
There are three different categories through which students are admitted: All India Quota (35%): Applicants who completed their school education from any part of India belong to this category. Reservation as per GOI Norms NTPC Quota (15%): Applicants employed with NTPC or their wards who have completed their school education from any part of India belong to this category. Reservation as per GOI Norms Chhattisgarh State Quota (50%): Applicants who passed both 10th and 12th standard examinations from schools situated in the State of Chhattisgarh belong to this category. The reservation for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories shall be as per Chhattisgarh Government norms. a. Women – 30% b. Children of Ex-Servicemen – 5% c. Children or Grandchildren of Freedom Fighters – 3% d. Persons with Disabilities – 5% e. SC- 12% f. ST- 32% g. OBC(NCL)-14% |

Admission Process
B.Tech. Admission Process
Candidates seeking admission under All India Quota must apply through JoSAA (http://josaa.nic.in)
and those seeking admission under Chhattisgarh quota and/or NTPC quota must apply through
the institute online portal (https://www.iiitnr.ac.in/)
Counselling Process
Candidates applying for admissions shall be required to remit a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 500/- online.
Based on the online applications received, merit lists, based on JEE (Main)
2020 rank, will be published for each category.
A. Documents to be uploaded online (while filling the application form):

3. JEE (Main) Rank card
4. Caste certificate wherever applicable
5. FF/Ex-S/PWD certificate wherever applicable
