National Academy of Construction (NAC) Hyderabad is an education institution for development of all types of construction resources, technologies and methodologies for fast-track completion of projects.
National Academy of Construction (NAC) was established in 1998, by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is the chairman and the Honorable Minister for Roads and Buildings is the vice chairman. It is managed by Board of Governors consisting of secretaries to the government of Andhra Pradesh, Heads of Research Institutions and Members of Academia and the Builders Association of India (Andhra Pradesh Chapter)
National Academy of Construction is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute. It is also a Vocational Training Provider as recognized by Government of India and represented on the National Council for Vocational Training
NAC is registered as a ‘Public Society’ and incorporated as a ‘Public Charitable’ institution in September 1998. NAC is in a sprawling 46.46 acres of land at Madhapur, Hitech City, Hyderabad.
Construction is one such area where technology is developing at a very fast rate. Hence one needs proper understanding of the technology and importance of proper training. Starting with one centre and five trades and training 150 technicians per year, NAC has grown surely and steadily to 110 centres through out Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States and 21 trades today with target of training 1,00,000 technicians per annum. Apart from this its operations are reaching the nooks and corners of India, and also beyond sea sparing no hard ship and hindrance.
For better Administrative convenience the academy has created six regional centres in Karimnagar, Hyderabad in Telangana State and Guntur, Kadapa, Vishakapatnam, Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh State which are also headed by Regional Directors, Assistant Directors are appointed in each district for better co-ordination and Quality control of the training programmes.
