Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences (IGIDS), established in the year 2007,was granted approval by the DENTAL COUNCIL OF INDIA and sanctioned by the GOVERNMENT OF INDIA with Hundred-intake capacity. It is affiliated to MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY, Kottayam and 2010 onwards affiliated to KERALA UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH AND ALLIED SCIENCES, approved by Hon: GOVERMENT OF KERALA.
