Al Shifa College of Nursing (ASCN) established in 2002 with a view to create nursing professionals competent in comprehensive nursing care based on scientific principles so as to meet the escalating medi-care needs of the country. The Institute is affiliated to the University of Calicut Kerala . The Al Shifa College of Nursing has been recognized as a Minority Educational Institution by the National commission for Minority Education Institutions, Government of India in the year 2008. In 2010, the College affiliated under the Health University of Kerala, ie, Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.
