Government Saitual College (GSC) was established in 1984. It was upgraded into Government grantin-aid Deficit Status with effect from Ist, April, 1993. On 11th Oct. 2007, the College was provincialised by the Government of Mizoram. Since then, it has been known as “Government Saitual College: The College is co-educational, having classes in the day from 9:40A.M to 4:20 P.M. Academically, Govt. Saitual College is Degree (Arts) College affiliated to Mizoram University having seven Departments viz. English, Mizo, Pol. Science, History, Economics, Education and Geography.
