American aerospace company Boeing has officially handed over the first Apache Guardian chopper to Indian Air Force, this helicopter Indian Air Force was handed over to the production center of Boeing in Arizona, USA.

  • In this meeting, World Trade Organization Director General Roberto Azévedo is also participating. 

Objectives and Importance Through this meeting, developing countries and the least developed countries will come to the same platform and they will discuss shared issues. In this meeting, developing countries and the least developed countries will work on mutual consent to move forward on the reforms of the WTO. 


This meeting is being organized at a time when multilateral rule-based business systems are facing many kinds of serious challenges. In the last few years, unilateral steps have been taken by several countries, causing problems in various negotiations. This poses a threat to the existence of the World Trade Organization's dispute settlement mechanism.

Background

The first proposal of International Nurses Day was proposed in 1953 by Dorothy Sutherland (US Department of Health, Education and Welfare) before it was announced by American President Dwight D'Eisenhower. It was first celebrated in 1965 by the International Council of Nurse (ICN). From January 1974 it was celebrated on May 12 as the birthday anniversary of the founder of Florence Nightingale. He was born on May 12, 1820. 

Florence Nightingale was a British citizen. They are known for the service of the injured and sick soldiers in the war. He trained other nurses in the Crimean War of 1850s and also served as their manager. They are called "Lady with the lamp". The modern health system is greatly influenced by their vision-oriented ideas and reforms.
