India's Hima Das has won the fourth gold medal in 15, winning the medal in the 200 meters race in the Czech Republic. He completed this 200-meter race in just 23.25 seconds. 

Hima Das was born on January 9, 2000 in Kandhulimari village, near the town of Dhing in the state of Assam to Ronjit and Jonali Das. His father is a farmer and he cultivates rice. At the recently concluded Asian Games, Hima Das established a national record of 51.00 in order to qualify for the 400-meter final. In this competition, he won a silver medal with a timing of 50.79. In the Asian Games 2018, he won gold medal in women's 4x400m relay. In Asian Games, he won a silver medal in the mixed 4x400 meter race. In the IAAF Under-20 Athletics Championship 2018, he won gold medal in the track event, he is the first Indian women athlete to achieve this feat.

When will launch Chandrayaan-2?

ISRO has recently announced that Mission Chandrayaan-2 will be launched on July 22, 2019. India's mission was to launch Chandrayaan-2 on July 15, 2019. Just 56 minutes before the launch, ISRO detected some technical flaws in Chandrayaan-2, the momentum was postponed after the countdown stopped. 


The name of Chandrayaan-2 lander is named "Vikram", while its rover is named "Pragyan". 
Mission Chandrayaan-2 

Chandrayaan-2 is India's second mission on the Moon, it is India's toughest mission so far. This is an upgraded version of Chandrayaan’s  mission launched in 2008. Chandrayaan Mission had only revolutionized the moon, but in the Chandrayaan-2 mission a rover would also be dropped on the Moon's surface.

ISRO has made all parts of this mission indigenously in India, including orbiter, lander and rover. In this mission, ISRO will try to land the Land Rover at the Moon's South Pole for the first time. This rover will travel on the surface of the moon and analyze the surface of the Moon. 

Chandrayaan-2 will be launched from GSLV Mk III. This is the first interactive mission of ISRO in which ISRO will roll over another astronomical object. ISRO's Spacecraft (orbiter) weighs 3,290 kg, this spacecraft will collect data by circling the Moon, it is mainly used for remote sensing.

The 6-wheeler will travel on the surface of the Moon to collect clay and rock samples, thereby, it is likely to get information about the moon's earth-crust, minerals and hydroxyl and water-ice signs. Israel is also in December, 2018. Preparing to take mission on the Moon. This data will be sent to Earth by the orbiter. Israel is also preparing to launch a missile mission in December, 2018. 
Soft-landing on the surface of the moon will be the hardest part of this mission, so far only the US, Russia and China have been able to do this. Israel's Spacecraft crashed on the moon.

Which state government increased the financial assistance given to the family of martyr soldiers Rs 1 crore?

Answer: Maharashtra 

Government has approved the increase in the financial assistance given to martyrs and those who become disabled. Earlier, financial assistance given to the families of martyrs was Rs 25 lakh by the state government, now this amount has been increased four times. The increased amount will be applicable from January 1, 2019. 

Recently, the Central Government and several State Governments also increased financial support given to the martyrs' families. After the Pulwama terror attack, the Center had increased the amount to be given to the families of martyred soldiers to Rs 1 crore.

The injured soldiers were first given Rs 15 lakhs from Rs 8.5 lakhs, now the amount has been increased to Rs 20-60 lakhs. 

The benefit of this increased amount will be to the families of those soldiers who are residents of Maharashtra and are engaged in the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF and CRPF etc. 

If the young man becomes martyred then his family will be given Rs. 1 crore. 

  • 20 lakhs will be given to 1 to 25% disability. 
  • 34 lakhs will be given to 26% to 50% disability. 
  • 60 lakhs will be given on 51 to 100% disability.
