MUMBAI, OCT 17:
The Philips board of management has appointed A. Krishnakumar as the Managing Director and CEO of Philips Electronics India Ltd with effect from December 2013. Krishnakumar is currently President and Head of Philips Healthcare Business,
Rajeev Chopra, current CEO and Managing Director of Philips India, has been appointed Global Head of the Philips Consumer Luminaire Business Group. Chopra will be relocating to Brussels.
Krishnakumar will continue to head the healthcare business until his successor is appointed. He joined Philips in June 2010 as President and Business Head of Philips Healthcare. He has master’s degrees from leading institutes IIM Ahmedabad and the Kellogg School of Management.
