Poona College of Pharmacy (PCP): UG and PG Admission 2020

Poona College of Pharmacy (PCP) offers B.Pharm, M.Pharm and PharmD (Post Baccalaureate) programs for the academic year 2020-2021

B.Pharm (4 year)

Eligibility: The candidate must be an Indian National. 

Candidate should pass 10+2 in Science from recognised board with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical vocational subject.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

In case of candidates of Backward class categories and Person with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State, minimum marks shall be obtained 45%.

Candidates who have passed Diploma course in Pharmacy  with minimum of 45% marks from AICTE approved colleges from Maharashtra State or its equivalent will also be eligible for the admission to First Year B.Pharm. (I Semester) course.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test (PHARMUG).

Fees: Rs. 60,000/- First Year


 

M.Pharm (2 year)

Specialization:

  • Drug Regulatory Affairs

Eligibility: Candidate should hold B.Pharm Degree with minimum 55% marks.

In the case of the SC/ST, teacher and sponsored category candidate, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test (PHARMPG).

Fees: Rs. 1,25,000/- First Year


 

PharmD (Post Baccalaureate) (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold B.Pharm Degree with minimum 55% marks.

In the case of the SC/ST, teacher and sponsored category candidate, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test (PHARMPG).

Fees: Rs. 1,75,000/- First Year


 

Pham.D (6 year)

Eligibility: The candidate must be an Indian National. 

Pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:

  • Mathematics or Biology.

A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmcy Act.

Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Candidate appering in 10+2 or Second Year D.Pharm will also be eligible for appering in Pharm.D.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test Conducted by the university.

Fees: Rs. 1,75,000/- First Year


 

PCP: Admission Process 2020

Candidate wish to appear for the  entrance test is online computer based.

Entrance Test Fee:

  • B.Pharm/Pharm.D Rs. 1450 /-
  • M.Pharm/Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate): Rs. 1700/-

Fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Interested candidate should visit official website of the institute to register first.

a) Create their login credential

b) Have a scanned image of their recent passport size photograph (Refer to guidelines mentioned on the Website)

c) Have a scanned image of their signature, ready before filling up the online application form.

d) Read the procedure and guidelines for online payments of test fee which is to be made through Credit Card / Debit Card/ Internet Banking.

The candidate may then proceed to fill the form and submit the completed online application form.

Take print out of the filled up form and keep safe for future reference.

Candidates should submit the completed online application form on or before the last date mentioned in the website.

The following certificates in original along with self-attested two copies each should be submitted at the time of counseling

1. Your letter for Counseling.

2. For a Proof of date of Birth:  10th  Certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate and Certificate of Domicile/Nationality Certificate.

3. A Certificate of the Principal/Headmaster of the School for having studied for 11th and 12th standards.

4. Statement of marks of 10th std examination.

5. Statement of marks of 12th std examination.

6. Statement of marks of D.Pharm. I and II year (if applicable).

7. Transfer Certificate from the Institution in which you had studied last.

8. Migration Certificate (for students who had joined any other course after 12th).

9. Anti-Ragging Undertaking for all students seeking fresh admission to First Year UG & PG courses.

10. Gap Certificate (if applicable).

11. Character Certificate from a responsible person.

12. Certificate of Medical Fitness.

13. An affidavit in the given format signed by you and countersigned by your parent/guardian.

14. Six recent passport-size photographs with your names written on backside.

15. The amount of Tuition fees, other fees and Hostel fees in case you need an admission to Hostel.

16. Caste Certificate and Caste Validity Certificate issued by Govt. of Maharashtra.

17. Aadhar Card Photo Copy.
