National Law Institute University (NLIU) invites eligible candidates for admission in various Law courses through Entrance Test for the academic year 2023-2024

Ph.D (3 year)

Eligibility:  Candidate should have LLM Degree with  minimum50% marks in aggregate.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

The Entrance Test of PhD programes of NLIU will be held on June 2021 in the NLIU will consist of the following subjects.

  • Constitutional Law
  • Jurisprudence
  • Research Methodology

Fees: Rs. 1,03,750/- Total


Master of Cyber Law and Information Security (MCLIS) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold

Bachelor's Degree in any stream from recognised university/college

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test and Personal Interview.

Fill application fee carefully.

Pay application form fee  Rs. 1500/- (One Thousand Five Hundred Only).

Candidate can pay application fee by Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Director, the National Law Institute University, payable at Bhopal.

The candidate must clearly write his/her full name, date of birth and telephone number on the back of the Demand Draft.

Send application form along with DD and required enclosure before due date to admission office of the university.

Self attested copies of the following

(1) Mark Sheet of 10th Examination

(2) Certificate of 10th Examination

(3) Proof of Date of Birth if not mentioned in the Certificate of 10th Examination

(4) Mark Sheet of 12th Examination

(5) Certificate of 12th Examination

(6) Mark Sheet of Bachelor Degree Examination

(7) Bachelor Degree

(8) Mark Sheet of LLB/BA LLB Examination

(9) Degree of LLB/BA LLB

(10) Mark Sheet of LLM Examination

(11) Degree of  LLM

12) UGC NET/JRF Certificate

(13) Migration Certificate

(14) Caste Certificate, if applicable

(15) Certificate of Person with Disability, if applicable

(16) Affidavit of Intervening Period, if any.

All the candidates who have completed their LLM Degree before last date must submit the affidavit giving reasons of the intervening period.

Eligibility: Candidate should be passed 10+2 with minimum 45% in case of general categoery and 40% for resrve categoery.

Selection Process: Valid Score in CLAT.

Fees: Rs. 1,16,000/- Per Year

Master of Laws (LLM) (1 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass Bachelor's Degree in law from rom recognised university/ institute with minimum  55%  marks for General Categoery and 50% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

NLIU: LLM, BA LLB Admission Process 2023

Admission to the BA LLB and LLM program will be through CLAT.

Application Fee for CLAT.

For General/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI candidates: Rs. 4,000/-

For SC/ ST/ BPL category candidates: Rs. 3,500/-

The cost of previous years' question papers is Rs. 500/- (not included in the CLAT application fee of Rs. 4,000/- or Rs. 3,500/- as the case may be.)

The candidates themselves will have to bear the bank transaction charges for remitting the fee online. The actual bank transaction charges will be displayed in the payment gateway page after you choose the mode of payment.

Application Fees is non-refundable.
