Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) invites female candidates for admission in M.Sc. Nursing  course through Entrance Test for the academic year 2022-2023

This Degree Course is affiliated to H.P. University, Shimla and permitted on yearly basis by the Indian Nursing Council, NewDelhi.

M.Sc. Nursing (2 year)

Seats: 5 each stream

Specialization:

• Medical Surgical
• Community Health Nursing
• Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing
• Child Health Nursing
• Mental Health Nursing 

Eligibility: a.Female candidates are eligible.

b. Candidates should be registered as registered Nurse/ Midwife (RN/RM) B.Sc./ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with H.P State Nurses registration council Shimla/ any State Nursing Registration council at the time of counselling.

c. The candidates should be B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing /B. Sc Hons. Nursing trained from the recognized Institutions not less than 55% aggregate marks.

d. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and after B.Sc. Nursing from the date of registration at the time of counselling.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test to be conducted by the Himachal Pradesh.

 Interested candidate may visit official website of the university to apply online.

Candidate should read application fom  carefully to satisfy his/her eligibility criteria and other requirements for submission of online application form appearing in the Test.

 Entrance Test Application Fee:

• For General Category: Rs. 2,500/-
• For SC/ST Categories: Rs. 1,250/-

 Steps to submit online application form:

1. Click on “Post-graduation ” to access the list of programs.

2. Click on the “M.Sc. Admission?.

4. After clicking on the program a pop up will be opened for terms and conditions.

5. Kindly check the terms and conditions. After that you will be re-directed to personal information page.

6. Online Application form has contain the following information which candidates have to fill

• Personal Information
• Education and Document Details
• Application Summary
• Payment
• Submit application form.

7.  Fill the information. After filling up the information click on save button at the end of the page.  System will generate the Unique Registration numbe ralong with password and the same will be send on the registered e-mail and on registered mobile number. Candidates are advised keep safe it for further admission process.

8. Login with unique registration number along with password now you have to complete the steps.

9. Fill up the educational details and upload the related document(s). Uploaded Photo and Signature.

10. To save the data, please click on "Continue and Save’ button at the bottom of each screen.

Application form fee can be paid through

• Debit Card
• Credit Card
• Net Banking etc.

If the payment is successfully done, you will receive a success message with all the details.

11. Click on the "Submit Application Form"  button to get the form finally submitted.

12. After successfully submission of the application form, Take print out of the confirmation copy of the online application form.

This copy of printout along with required certificates/documents will be produced by the candidate in person on the day of counseling.
