GH Patel School of Nursing (GHPSN): Admissions 2023

GH Patel School of Nursing (GHPSN) invites applications for admissions in the following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) (3 year)

Seats: 25

Eligibility:  Candidate should pass 10+2 exam with English and secured a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board.

Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.

The candidate should pass 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council

The candidate should pass 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/ State/ Centre

The candidate  should be a Registered ANM with pass mark.

For foreign nationals

 The entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, State Nursing Council will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed as above

Reservation

For disabled candidates: 3% Disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification will be same as prescribed for each nursing program.

5% of total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates

Any other reservation as per the State Govt.

Note: Reservation shall be applicable within the sanctioned number of the seats by INC and not above it.

Admission of students shall be once in a year.

Students shall be medically fit.

Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that year) The upper age limit is 35 yrs.

For ANM/ for LHV, there is no age bar.

Selection Process: The selection of the candidates will be based on the merit of the performance in the entrance examination which will be held by Bhaikaka University. 

Fees: Rs. 99,000/- Per Year


 

B.Sc. Nursing (4 year)

Seats: 40

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam in Science and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.

Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.

English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).

Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.

Candidate shall be medically fit.

Married candidates are also eligible for admission.

Selection Process: The selection of the candidates will be based on the merit of the performance in the entrance examination which will be held by Bhaikaka University. 

Fees: Rs. 1,51,000/- Per Year


 

M.Sc. Nursing (2 year)

Seats: 05 each stream

Specialization:

  • Medical surgical Nursing
  • Child Health Nursing
  • Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Degree of B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Degree with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from the institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

 The candidate also should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN & RM) or should have registration equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council and possess one year of experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing or one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

Candidates should be medically fit for the Program.

Admission is open to female and male candidates.

Foreign candidates must produce equivalent certificates from Indian Nursing Council, stating that their qualification and experience is adequate for enrolling them in this Program.

Selection Process: The selection of the candidates will be based on the merit of the performance in the entrance examination which will be held by Bhaikaka University.

Fees: Rs. 1,00,000/- Per Year

Interested candidate should visit institute website to Download Application Form.

Fill Downloaded Form and attach supportive self-attested documents along with admission fee.

Filled application form should be submitted in personally to administrative office of nursing institute.

Or

By filling the application form after downloading it from Bhaikaka University website (http://www.bhaikakauniv.edu.in).

The supportive self-attested documents along with application fee should be submitted to nursingcollege@ bhaikakauniv.edu.in 

The selection of the candidates will be based on the merit of the performance in the entrance examination which will be held by Bhaikaka University. Selected candidates shall have to appear for interview before Bhaikaka University Admission Committee with all original documents.
