Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) offers PGDM program for the academic year 2024-2025

PGDM (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree  or an equivalent from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Differently Abled (DA) categories, also referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD), are eligible with a minimum of 45% marks. 

Selection Process: Valid score in management entrance examinations such as CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), and CMAT (Common Management Admission Test).The candidates with the highest scores in these examinations are given preference during the selection process.

The institute follows reservation policy as prescribed by the Government of Bihar for educational institutions. The break-up of reservation policy is as follows: 

Scheduled Castes – 16% 

Scheduled Tribes – 01% 

Extremely Backward Class – 18% 

Backward Class – 12%, 

Women of Backward Class – 3%. 

Amongst all the categories, 50% of the total seats would be reserved for students who qualify as a Domicile of Bihar (permanent residents only) and 4% of the total seats for Persons with Disability (PWD).

Fellow Program in Management (FPM)

Eligibility: Candidate must hold a Master’s Degree [or equivalent in Engineering/ Technology/Management/ Economics/Social Science/Biological Science/Pure Science/Commerce/Humanities] from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 60% or equivalent.

Foreign applicants having Masters Degree with above 60% marks or equivalent will also be considered. 

Candidates appearing for the final year of Master’s Degree/equivalent examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. Successful candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if he/she submits a certificate latest by September 30, 2023 from the Principal/Registrar of his/her College/Institute (issued on or before September 30, 2023) stating that the candidate has completed all the formalities/requirements for obtaining the master’s degree/equivalent qualification on or before the date of the issue of certificate.

 Selection Process:  Candidates require a valid test score, from any one of the acceptable tests (CAT, GMAT, GRE, NET), Personal Interview.

Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM) (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering and Technology/ Management/ Economics/ Social Science/ Biological Science/ Pure Science/ Commerce/ Humanities with FIRST CLASS shall be considered for admission.

Those appearing for their final examination in the respective discipline can also apply. Such students if selected shall be provisionally admitted provided they complete all requirements in obtaining their Master’s Degree before 30th September of the year of admission. The admission of these candidates shall remain provisional until they produce the mark sheet proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year mark sheet is 31st December.

Applicants are required to have a professional experience of at least 5 (five) years [as on the application deadline] in industry, corporate or academics after graduation.

Selection Process: Final selection will be done by the academic area of specialization for which the candidate has applied based on overall performance of the candidate and the requirements of the areas and provisional admission offers will be made.

Applicants can download application form from our website and will send scanned copy of filled application form along with academic certificates, marksheets, and application form fee payment slip to us through email on efpm@cimp.ac.in.

Applicants can submit the hard copy of application form and other documents at the CIMP counter by hand or by post. 

Application Form fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) [Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Differently Abled (DA)* candidates] can be deposited through NEFT/ RTGS/ IMPS in favour of “Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna” Payable at Patna.

Details for NEFT/RTGS/IMPS transactions are given below: 

CIMP will not be responsible for any postal delays or fornon-receipt of application forms.
