Al Shifa College of Pharmacy (ASCP) offers following programs for the academic year 2021-2022

D.Pharm (2 year)

Seats: 60

Eligibility: Candidate who have passed 10+2 of the Kerala State with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as optional Subjects and equivalent thereto are eligible to apply. 

Candidates must be citizens of India.

Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31 December of admission year.

Selection Process:  50% of seats will be merit seats and it will be filled up according to rank as per the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained for Physics & Chemistry at the qualifying examination.

Remaining 50% will be management seat. Selection & Admission to Management Quota for D.Pharm course will be done according to rank as per the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained for Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics of the qualifying examination.


 

B.Pharm (4 year)

Seats: 100

Eligibility:  Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent with  minimum 50% marks in Biology/ Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ ComputerScience separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics /Biotechnology/Computer Science put together are eligible. Candidates from National Open School are not eligible toapply for the course. 

Candidates must be citizens of India.

Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31 December of admission year.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Fees: Rs. 98,000/- Per Year


 

M.Pharm (2 year)

Specialization and  Seats:

  • Pharmaceutics - 18

  • Pharmacy Practice - 10
  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry – 10
  • Pharmaceutical Analysis – 18

 Eligibility: Candidate should hold B.Pharm Degree of Kerala University of Health Sciences or an examination equivalent thereto of any other university recognized by Kerala University of Health Sciences with not less than a total of 55% marks for the B.Pharm degree examination shall be eligible for admission to M.Pharm degree course.

The candidate should have undergone B.Pharm Degree course in an institution approved by AICTE and the PCI.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test. 

Selection & Admission to Management Quota (except NRI seats) for M.Pharm course will be done through the centralized selection and admission process of the Kerala State Self-Financing B.Pharm Management Association (KSSBCMA).


 

PharmD (Post Baccalaureate) (3 year)

Seats: 10

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.Pharm Degree from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Selection Process: Valid Score in GPAT.

Fees: Rs. 3,58,000/- Total


 

PharmD (6 year)

Eligibility: (1) 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:

Mathematics or Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate for optional subjects. 

(2) A pass in D.Pharm course with a minimum of 50% marks from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. 

(3) Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. 

Minimum age for the course is 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Fill application form.

Duly filled application form along with relevant documents and DD for Rs. 1,000/- in favour of ‘Kerala State Self Financing Pharmacy College Management Association’ Payable at Chalakudy, should be submitted to the office of the college on or before the prescribed date in notification.

List of copies of following certificate / documents attested by Gazetted Officer / Head of the Institution where the student had last studied to be submitted with the application.

1. 12th / 10th certificate in proof of the date of birth.

2. Mark list of qualifying examination.

3. Caste certificate

4. Candidates should enclose a self-addressed envelope (25x12 cm size) with Indian postage stamp/ stamps sufficient for sending the Selection Memo by Registered post with set of application form.

Note:

i. Applications received late will not be accepted.

ii. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

iii. Candidates should not enclose any original certificate along with the application.

Out of 60 seats available, 50% of seats will be merit seats and it will be filled up according to rank as per the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained for Physics & Chemistry at the qualifying examination. The remaining 50% will be management seat.
