Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BEd in Yogoda Satsanga Palpara Mahavidyalaya

Candidates should pass Bachelor's Degree /Master Degree exam with at least 50%, For SC/ ST/ PH Category 45% in the subjects (Bengali, English, History, Sanskrit, Geography, Mathematics, Life Science, Physical Science, Work Education and Education) taught in the college are eligible.
Fresher Candidates must be within 38 years of age as on academic year.
If the candidates having subjects either in Hons. Course or in Master’s degree other than the school subjects offered in the college may apply for B.Ed. course. They must have any one of the schools subjects offered in the college in their graduation level having 300 marks and they will be treated as B.A./ B.Sc. (General) category. They will not enter their Hons./ Master’s degree for Qualification Details during Online Application.
B.E./ B.Tech candidates may also apply, but they must have at least 55% marks (for SC/ ST/ PH category 50% marks) with specialization in Science and Mathematics. They will be treated as science stream and Hons. Category.
50% of the total seats will be reserved for Deputed teachers and 50% for fresher’s.
BCA/ B.Sc. (Voc.) degree in UG treated as Pass Category.
