Seth Jaiprakash Mukandlal Polytechnic (SJMP) for women was established in the memory of Late Seth Jaiprakash Ji by his wife Sethani Swaraj Devi and their illustrious sons late Seth Swatantra Kumar, Seth Ashok Kumar and Shri Vijay Kumar in 1975 also International Women's Year. This was the second Polytechnic for women in Uttar Pradesh at the time of its inception. This Institute runs under Registered Society "VIDYA KENDRA" which is registered under Registrar of Societies U.P., with registration No. 30/1954-55 under whom more than 27 Institutions are being run.
