R. L. Institute of Management Studies (RLIMS), a division of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, run by  Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy Foundation (SLF) was started in the year 1998. A  B-School with 19 years of Dynamic Existence.
The College is promoted by Dr R Lakshmipathy, Publisher of the leading Tamil daily Dinamalar. RLIMS obtained Autonomous status in the year 2006 and serves as an autonomous body.
RL Institute of Management Studies is an autonomous institution approved by AICTE. The Institute is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University and Re-accredited by NAAC with B status on March 2013.
