Selection Process

For admisssion in MBA course, candidate should pass CAT exam.

For admisssion in M.Sc. course, candidate should pass JAM exam.

For admisssion in B.Tech. course, candidate should pass JEE MAIN exam.

For admisssion in M.Tech. course, candidate should pass GATE exam.

For admisssion in Ph.D.  course, candidate should pass  NET/ GATE exam.

MBA Admission Process

 There are two steps in online application procedure:

Step 1. Register by filling personal details. Your CAT Roll No. would be your Login ID and a password would be set by you in this step.

Step 2. Online filling of application form after login: Use your CAT roll no. as Username and your Password (set in Step 1) to login. Before starting the online filling of application form, please make sure that you have soft copy of your passport size photograph in JPEG (up to 100 kb) format and signature in JPEG format (up to 100kB).

Pay fee by SBI-MOPS (either online payment by internet banking, credit card/debit card or offline payment by chalan) Application fee is Rs. 1,200/- for OP and OBC candidates and Rs. 600/-for SC/ST candidates.

After login, follow the instructions for filling application form. Take print out the form, paste same photograph which was uploaded, attach all required documents and send on the address given below:

M.Sc. Admission Process

Applicants can apply for Admission based on JAM only through the online application process at JAM  website (http://jam.iitb.ac.in).

The application fee for the admission is Rs. 600/- for all applicants and is non-refundable. 

Applicants can use their Enrollment ID and password for logging into https://joaps.iitb.ac.in and view their scores. If they are qualified, they can start applying for admission by choosing "Admission Form Filling". 

The candidate needs to have the following documents, in PDF form, ready before starting the online application: 

A. Mandatory Documents for All: 

1)    10th Certificate 

2)    10th+2 Marksheet 

3)    Qualifying Degree: Marksheets of all semesters/ years 

B. Document for General Category: 

1)    Nationality Certificate: Birth Certificate or Voter ID or First page of Passport or School Transfer Certificate (TC) showing nationality or Nationality Certificate issued by the authorized government agency or Aadhar Card. 

(Please note that any other documents, Ration Card, Driving License, College/ Institute/ School ID, Bank Passbook, PAN Card, Mark sheets are not considered as Nationality Certificate). 

C. Other Documents: 

1)    Category Certificate for OBC(NCL), SC and ST Applicants 

2)    PwD Certificate for PwD Applicants 

The photograph and signature uploaded during the time of applying for JAM  Examination will be used for admission process. There is no need to re-upload the same. 

Irrespective of whether a candidate has qualified in one or two Test Papers, only one duly completed Admission Form should be submitted, listing in the option form all the programmes at IITs (along with the order of preferences) where the candidate is seeking admission. 

The application fee (non-refundable) for admission is Rs. 600/- and this amount has to be paid ONLINE only using credit card or debit card or net banking. No challan payment is accepted. During the time of payment of fee, additional charges pertaining to the mode of payment would be added up. 

Any application which is incomplete in any respect and does not have the required valid documents will be summarily rejected. The Applicants must take care to fill in the details in the application form correctly and must upload correct and valid documents. Candidate must ensure the successful submission of their application in the portal.

M.Tech. Admission Process

Admission through CCMT

The registration fee is Rs. 2,200/- for OC/OB and Rs. 1,700/- for SC/ST/PwD, payable only through SBI MOPS (i.e.,Net banking/Credit Card / Debit Card or e-Challan a

The admission process broadly involves the following five stages:

(i) Online Registration, Choice Filling and Locking of Choices

(ii) Online Seat Allotment

(iii) Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee

(iv) Reporting at RC after paying the Seat Acceptance Fee

(v) Payment of Seat Confirmation Fee, and Report at the allotted Institute and pay the Institute balance fee as per the detail given on CCMT website (http://ccmt.nic.in).

B.Tech. Admission Process

Candidates of JEE (Main)  have to apply online only.

There is no printed application form for JEE(Main).

Please ensure that you are filling genuine application form available online at JEE (Main) website(www.jeemain.nic.in).

Please ensure your eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced) andparticipating State Institutions (as applicable). 

Ph.D. Admission Process

There are two steps in online application procedure:

Step 1. Register by filling your personal details and pay fee by using payment link.

An application ID will be provided in this step, which will be required in step 2. Application fee is Rs. 1,200/- for OPEN and OBC-NC candidates for each programme.

For SC/ST category admission fee is Rs.600/- for each program.

Fee payment can be made by either online payment mode using credit/debit card, internet banking or offline mode by chalan.

If online payment mode is opted, then after successful payment an e-receipt will be generated by admission portal. If offline payment is opted, then report any branch of State Bank of India with print out of the generated chalan and deposit application fee.

Bank will provide a stamped receipt. This e-receipt/stamped clalan receipt will be required at the time of sending application form to MNNIT Allahabad.

Step 2. Online filling of application form: Log-in with application ID provided in step 1 

Before starting the online filling of application form, please make sure that you have soft

copy of your passport size photograph in JPEG (up to 30 kb) format.

After login, follow the instructions for filling application form.

Take print out of the form, attach photocopy of all required documents [refer section 8(i)] and send on the address given below so as to reach before the due date:
