Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is an internationally recognized regular course which is conducted as per ICAO standards, a united nation agency. In India, it is duly approved by DGCA, as it is the member of ICAO. The course has been planned, in a systematic manner following the norms and standards accepted by the regulatory authority – DGCA and the aviation community.

Duration: 03 Years (05 Semesters + 06 months OJT)

Admission Process

To Admission in IIA, candidates can apply online or on the prescribed application form which can be obtained from the Institute.

ON LINE

Step 1. An applicant has to fulfill the eligibility criteria.

For DGCA

  • Minimum age at the time of admission is 16 years.
  • 10+2 Pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as major subjects.
  • Diploma holders in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic & Aeronautical streams.
  • Fitness certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner. (Min. M.B.B.S).
  • Mandatory Passport & Aadhaar card.

For EASA

  • Minimum Age 15 years.
  • Secondary Education Certificate (SSC)
  • School Leaving Certificate (SLC).
  • Fitness certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner. (Min. M.B.B.S).
  • Mandatory Passport.
  • Basic knowledge of English language (IELTS, min. band 4.0 or English as Major Subject in 10+2).

Step 2. To register, kindly institute website or click on below link and fulfil the basic details along with registration fee or NEFT on account details provided on a fee structure.

Step 3. Fill the admission forms (Form no. 6,7,8,9).

Form 6:     Personal particulars form.

Form 7:     Medical fitness, attested by a Registered Medical Practitioner (M.B.B.S).

Form 8:     NOC attested by administration of last Institution/school.

Form 9:     Declaration by parents/guardians.

Step 4. Submit admission forms with the following supported documents.

  • 10+2 Marksheet /Certificate or Equivalent Diploma.
  • Government issued PIC (Aadhar Card & Passport).
  • 8 Passport size photographs (white background).

Step 5. To process admission, candidate has to pay the admission fee of through below link or NEFT on account details provided on a fee structure.
