Admission Process

Students who are willing /seeking to get admission in Government Mamit College shall first obtain a prescribed Admission Form along with Prospectus.

It can be had on payment of Rs. 100/- from the college Office during office hours.

Candidates must read the details of the subject combination given in the Prospectus carefully before filling in the form.

The duly filled-in completed Application Form along with the necessary documents as detailed in the Application Form shall be submitted to the college Office on or before the stipulated/specified last date of Form Submission as mentioned Rs. 200/- as late fee/fine. 

The college shall receive Application Forms for admission without any discrimination on grounds of caste, creed, colour, religion, sex, etc.

The final decision on admission whether to accept or not the application forms submitted shall rest solely with the college Authority/ Admission Committee which may exercise its own terms and conditions.

The decision taken by the college Authority/ Committeeshall befinal and binding on all concerned.The list of the applicants selected for the admission will be put up on the college Notice Board.

The college also keeps provision to reserve certain seatsfor the physically challenged/ handicapped/disabled persons(applicants under this category should submit necessary documents in support of their claim),educationally backward areas,outstanding sports persons,SC,OBC candidatesas well as college employees,spouse of college employees andchildren of college employees.

Documents to be enclosed:

1. Attested Xeroxed copy of Certificate and Mark sheet of the last examination passed.(The original certificates and mark sheets shall be produced at the time of admission).
2. Two copies of recent passport size photograph.
3. Attested Xeroxed copy of HSLC certificate.
4. Transfer/Migration certificate/Testimonial from the Institution last attended.
