Applications are invited for admission to the following Degree Courses in various Professional Colleges in the State for the year 2018-19. 

A. Medical Courses: (i) MBBS (ii) BDS (iii) BHMS(Homoeo) (iv) BAMS(Ayurveda)  (v) BSMS (Siddha) (vi) BUMS (Unani)

B. Allied Courses: (i) BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture (ii) BSc. (Hons.) Forestry  (iii) Veterinary (BVSc. & AH) (iv) Fisheries (BFSc.)

C. Engineering Courses: B.Tech. [including B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) & B.Tech. (Food Engg.&Tech.) Courses under the Kerala Agricultural University, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) & B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses under the Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, B.Tech. (Food Technology) course under the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies]

D. Architecture Course: B.Arch. (No Entrance Examination. Admission is based on merit as assessed by equal weightage to NATA Score and marks/grades in the Qualifying  Examination)

E. Pharmacy Course: B.Pharm.

Important Information:  

1. Candidates applying for admission to any of the following courses- Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharm,   MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary and Fisheriesshould apply online and send a printout to the CEE on or before the last date.

2. Online submission of Application may be made by accessing CEE website – www.cee.kerala.gov.in

3. Copy of the printout of the Application form must be retained for future reference.

4. Applicant should ensure the following before sending the printout of the application form:

i. All certificates furnished are properly filled in and signed by the competent authority and affixed office seal at specified place.

ii. The photograph uploaded online and the photograph pasted in the printout of application form should be identical and properly attested by Head of the Institution or Gazetted Officer of Government.

iii. The applicant should select the course/courses which he/she desires to study while applying online.

iv. The candidate should maintain confidentiality of the password created at the time of registration for submission of online application and keep it in safe custody till the end of allotment process.

5. No memo will be sent by post from this office in the case of defective applications. The defects, if any  which will be displayed on the website while downloading the admit card should be rectified within the specified period.

6. Candidates should send only one application for admission to any or all of the courses in KEAM 2018.

7. Candidates except SC/ST/OEC category should submit income certificate also along with the printout

 of application for availing income based fee concession/ scholarship.

8. Online Option Confirmation is mandatory for participating in each phase of allotment.

Eligibility

For MBBS, BDS, BSMS: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together, are eligible. In the absence of Biology, Biotechnology will be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

For BAMS/ BHMS courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible. Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

For BUMS course: Candidates seeking admission to main Kamil-E-Tib-WaJarahat (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery-BUMS) course must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 50% marks in Biology separately and the candidate should have passed (a) 10th standard with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a subject or clear the test of Urdu in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University or Board or Registered Society authorized by the Government to conduct such examination; or  (b) pre-Tib examination of one year duration.

For B.Sc.(Hons.)Agri., B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, BFSc courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology KEAM-2018, separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible. Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

For BVSc. & AH Course: Candidates should have secured not less than 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the qualifying examination, in addition to the condition as stipulated in clause 6.2.1(a)(iv) as per regulation 5 of Minimum standards of Veterinary Education Degree Course (BVSc & AH) Regulation, 1993. Relaxation in marks is permissible.

BSc. Degree holders: Candidates who have passed the BSc Degree (Three year course) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biotechnology as Main, and any one or two of the above subjects as Subsidiaries, with 50% marks for Main & Subsidiaries taken together, subject to the condition that they have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations recognised as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects are eligible for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BSMS courses.

For Engineering courses:  [Including B.Tech (Agri. Engg.) and B.Tech (Food Engg. & Tech) courses under the Kerala Agricultural University, B.Tech (Dairy Technology) and B.Tech (Food Technology) courses under Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University and B.Tech (Food Science & Technology) course under Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies].

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. 

Architecture Course:  (i) Minimum academic eligibility for admission to B. Arch.:  10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised Board with Mathematics as a subject of study by securing 50% marks in aggregate OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as one of the subject of examination OR International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

(ii) In addition to the academic eligibility as above, only those candidates who score the minimum eligibility marks as per the Information Brochure of National Aptitude Test in  Architecture (NATA) 2018 will be considered for admission to B. Arch. course. There is no relaxation in the minimum passing score of NATA to any category of candidates. Thecandidates shall have to qualify in NATA on or before 10.06.2018.

B.Pharm Course: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology/Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics put together are eligible. 

Relaxation in marks.

Age: Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2018.No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed.

Enclose the application and all supporting documents (seeclause 7.6 of the prospectus) in an A4 size envelope and sendso as to reach the Office of the Commissioner for EntranceExaminations before the last date specified for receipt ofapplication.

The application and supported documents should be arranged in the envelope in the following order:

1. The first page of Printout of Application with photograph pasted (same as uploaded) dully attested by a Government Gazzetted Officer/Head of Institution.

2. Proof for Nativity.

3. Proof for Date of Birth.

4. Course Certificate in Original or Self Attested copy of Mark list, if claimed studied Sanskrit at plus two.

5. Original Community/Non Creamy Layer Certificate, if communal reservation is claimed.

6. Original Income Certificate, if desire to be considered for fee concession / EC status.

7. Proof for Special Reservation, if claimed.

8. Any other documents, if required.
