MCA (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics as a main subject in 10+2.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Relaxation of 5% in marks will be given to SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.


 

Master of Science (MSc)  (2 year)

Eligibility:

M.Sc. in Statistics, MSc Mathematics/Applied Mathematics: Hold Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of optional subjects with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects;

Or

with at least 55% of marks for those students who have done B.A. /B.Sc. (Hons) course in Maths / Statistics. 

M.Sc. in Physics: Pass B.Sc. exam with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of subjects with Physics as one of the main subjects in combination with Mathematics

Or

with at least 55% marks in Degree with a minimum of 60% in the aggregate of science subjects: Physics, Mathematics and Electronics.

M.Sc. in Chemistry: Pass B.Sc. exam with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of Science subjects with Chemistry as one of the subjects, preferably in combination with Physics and Mathematics.

M.Sc. in Plant Biology & Biotechnology: Pass B. Sc. exam with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate ofScience subjects with at least one of the followingsubjects: Chemistry, Botany, Genetics, Microbiology,Biochemistry, Biotechnology. 

M.Sc. in Biochemistry: Pass B. Sc. exam with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of Science subjects with Chemistry or Biochemistry as one of the subjects. 

M.Sc. in Molecular Microbiology: Pass B. Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of Science subjects with at least one of the following subjects: Zoology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Microbiology, Life Sciences.

M.Sc. inAnimal Biology and Biotechnology: Pass B. Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of Science subjects. 

M.Sc. in Biotechnology: Hold Bachelor's Degree under regular pattern of education in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering / Technology, 4 years B.Sc. (Physician Assistant Course) or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS with at least 55% marks. 

M.Sc. in Ocean & Atmospheric Sciences: Hold Bachelor's Degree with minimum 55% marks in the Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Science with Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects at the B.Sc. level,

Or

B.Tech. in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical.

M.Sc. in Neural and Cognitive Science: Hold Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks in an branch of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science; MBBS. 

M.Sc. in Health Psychology: Candidate should be a Graduate with a minimum 60% marks.

Relaxation of 5% in marks will be given to SC/ST candidates.

M.A. in Philosophy: Bachelor's Degree in any subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate

M.A. in Hindi: 1. A Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks in any subject with Hindi as one of the optional subjects/compulsorysubjects/or second language.

2. A Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks in any subject with a diploma in Hindi or Translation studies in Hindi (PGDTS)/Functional Hindi.

M.A. in Telgu: With at least 50% marks in the Bachelor's Degree with atleast 50% marks in Telugu as optional subject

Or

withat least 50% marks in the Bachelor's Degree with at least 55% marks in Telugu as the compulsory subject.

M.A. in  Urdu: Hold Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Urdu, Persian or Arabic as optional papers

Or

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks in Urdu, Persian or Arabic as compulsory subject  as second language

M.A. in Applied Linguistics: At least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in any Bachelor’s Degree in aggregate with minimum 50% marks in English as a compulsory or optional subject.

M.A. in History: With at least 50% marks in the Bachelor's Degree and atleast 50% marks in History;

Or

with at least 50% marks in the Bachelor's Degree and at least 55% marks in aggregate in the allied subjects, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Indology, Archaeology, Ancient Indian History and Culture

Or

Bachelor's Degree in any subject with at least 60% marks in aggregate

M.A. in  Comparative Literature:  Hold Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% with at least 50% marks in English as Optional Subject

Or

50% marks in Bachelor's Degree with 55% marks in any literature / English as Compulsory Subject.

M.A. in  English Language Studies: Graduates from any discipline with English as a subject and at least one year in the graduate program, with at least 55% marks in English.

M.A. in  Political Science: Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or Equivalent Grade in Social Sciences or Humanities subjects

Or

55%marks in any other subject.

M.A. in  Sociology: Hold Bachelor's Degree and at least 50% marks in the subject concerned

Or

with at least 50% marks in aggregate

Or

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject (s) with 60% marks in aggregate.

M.A. in Anthropology: At least 50% marks in the Bachelor's Degree. 

M.A. in  Economics: A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with at least 50% marks in aggregate and at least 50% marks in Economics

Or

Bachelor's Degree with at least 60% marks.

M.A. in  Financial Economics: A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with at least 50% marks in aggregate and at least 50% marks in Economics.

Or

Bachelor's Degree with at least 60% marks.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) (2 year)

Selection Process: Valid Score in CAT followed by Group Discussion/Interview.

MBA Health Care & Hospital Management:   Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade of any recognized university.

Preference will be given to those who have an academic background/experience relating to Health care management/ Administration areas. 

Preference will be given to those who have an academic background/experience in Engineering/ Mathematics / Statistics.

Relaxation of 5% in marks will be given to SC/ST candidates.


 

Master of Technology (M.Tech) (2 year)

Eligibility:

M.Tech. Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology: First class with a minimum of 60% marks in the Bachelor's Degree examination in Engineering/Technology (B.E/B.Tech)/ MCA/ M.Sc. in(Computer Science/ Information Sciences/Electronics).

 M.Tech. IC Technology: Hold Master’s Degree in Electronics Science with at least 55% marks.

Or

with at least 60% marks in Physics (with Electronics as one of the subjects)/ B.E./ B.Tech., in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.

M.Tech. Bioinformatics: Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Biological or Agricultural Sciences or Physical or Chemical Sciences or Statistics or Mathematics or Computer Sciences or B. Pharmacy or B. Tech with a minimum of 60% marks.

M.Tech. Materials Engineering:  B.E /B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Ceramic Engineering

Or

Master of Science Degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science/ Biotechnology/ Nano Science and Technology.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurvedic medicine, homeopathy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, nutrition, pharmacology, veterinary sciences, agricultural sciences, social sciences or anyother science Degree.

MPA (2 year)

Specialization:

Eligibility: 

 Classical Dance: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree in dance

Or 

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with a professional diploma or certificate in dance recognized by the university

Or 

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with a certificate from a reputed Guru recognised by the university

 Or

A candidate with 10+full time 4 year diploma from Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai with one year practical work experience in an institution

Or

A candidate with 10 + 2 + full time 4 years diploma from Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai.

Theatre: Candidate should be a Graduate with an aptitude for Theatre Experience in Theatre or any Performing Art will be an added advantage.

Students must provide evidence of training or practice in visual arts at the time of the oral interview by bringing sketch books, art works or photographs of their original art works.
