Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) invites application for eligibile candidate to take admision in following programs for the academic year 2020-2021

B.Tech. Marine Engineering ( 4 year)

Seats: 240

Eligibility: Candidates must have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with-

• At least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (P C M), and
• At least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII

Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates will be considered.

Age: Minimum age should be 17 years. Maximum 25 years at the time of admission.

Medical standards: Should be physically fit for sea and should meet the medical standards laid by the Director General of shipping.

Eyesight: Candidates have to qualify a full eyesight test conducted by the Mercantile Marine Department before being finally selected for the course. They should have 6/6 in each eye without visual aids and should be free from colour blindness. 

Gender: Both genders without discrimination are eligibile for the course.

Selection Process: Valid Score in TMISAT/ IMUCET.

Fees: Rs.  18,01,000/- Total

B.Sc. in Nautical Science (3 year)

Seats: 80

Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with-

• At least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (P C M), and
• At least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII

Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates will be considered.

Age: Minimum age should be 17 years. Maximum 25 years at the time of admission.

Physical Standards: Medically fit as per the standards set by M. S. Medical Examination Rules.

Eyesight: Candidates have to qualify a full eyesight test conducted by the Mercantile Marine Department before being finally selected for the course. They should have 6/6 in each eye without visual aids and should be free from colour blindness.

Diploma in Nautical Science (1 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or its examination equivalent with:  

 Minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (P C M).

Minimum 50% marks in English

Physical Standards: Candidate must be in good mental and physical health and free from any deficiency likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties, as per the medical standards laid down by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India. 

Eyesight: Candidate must have 6/6 vision in both eyes. Color blindness is not permitted.

Medical fitness has to be certified by DG Shipping approved company doctors.

Selection Process: Valid Score in IMUCET.

Fees: Rs. 4,85,000/- Total

Step III: Print duly filled application form and the summary generated. Send the same along with the transaction receipt, if paid online,

• Two same recent passport size photographs with name & form number  written at the back.
• Self attested copies of certificates and / or mark sheets of your 10th and 12th  examinations (or its equivalent). Applicants who have not received 12th marksheet may submit a bonafide certificate from the head of the school or college where they appeared for these exams.
• Self attested copy of  birth certificate (for proof of age and place of Birth).
• Downloaded copies of class 10+2  marksheet (on receipt) from internet attested by school principal
• Copies of certificates for sports and any other extra curricular activities, if available (from Std. VIII and above only).
• Online transaction receipt, if paid online,
