Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) offers admissions to the following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

TISS: School of Management and Labour Studies

 B.Sc. Analytics And Sustainability Studies (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 standard or Intermediate in any subject stream from a recognised board.

Students who have studied International Baccalaureate Diploma and will be completing 10+2 standard with clear results declared by September 2023 are eligible to apply. 

Candidates who have appeared for their 12th class or Intermediate final exams and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

The upper age limit for General candidates is 20 years, OBC is 22 years and for SC & ST candidates the age limit is 24 years as of 31st July 2023.

The upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/ she belongs to since Physically Challenged Category candidates may belong to General / SC / ST / OBC categories.

Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board is the only authentic proof that will be accepted.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

1- CUET Score to be used for shortlisting for stage 2.
2- Stage 2 will assess apptitude and motivation for the program of study.

(i) successfully completed three years Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, or

(iii) Candidates should have completed their Internship on or before last prescribed date.

Masters in International Electoral Management and Practices (MIEMP( (2 year)

Eligibility: a) Candidates should have successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree of a minimum of 3- or 4-year duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4- or 10+2+2+1-year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. This Master’s Degree program will have additional/specific eligibility requirements. Candidates are advised to refer to program-specific eligibility criteria (given below) for more details and ensure that they satisfy such specific eligibility criteria. 

b) Candidates with M. A, M.Sc., LLM, MBA, M.Com, M.Tech, and other master's in the related field also can apply.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Admission Process 2023

Candidates shortlisted for personal interview are required to produce original certificate and mark sheet on the date of personal interview, for verifying.

Those who are in the final year but are eligible to apply are required to produce the mark sheets of all previous semesters on the date of personal interview.

Those candidates who are eligible to apply, but cannot submit the Degree certificate and grade/ mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these latest by 31 August 2023.

PG Diploma (1 year)

Specialization:

Eligibility: Candidate should holdind  a Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline from a recognized university, with minimum aggregate marks of 50%. 

In case of Scheduled Castes [SCs] and Scheduled Tribes [STs]), minimum marks shall be obtained 40%. 

Fees: Rs. 33,900/- To Rs. 75,000/- Total


 

Executive PG Diploma in Hospital Administration (EPGDHA) (1 year) 

Eligibiity: Candidate should hold Medical degrees (Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Unani, Sidha and Dentistry), BSc Nursing, Post BSc Nursing, paramedical and allied health degrees in the fields of pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other paramedical disciplines.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 45%, 35% for Scheduled Castes [SCs], Scheduled Tribes [STs] and OBC) or a Postgraduate Degree in any discipline. 

Candidate should be currently working in a hospital. 

Other Bachelor’s Degrees like Engineering, Law and in any discipline and minimum 2 year work experience in hospitals.

Candidates who belong to any age group shall apply for this program. 

Candidates Sponsored by hospitals will be given preference in admission.

Executive PG Diploma in Human Resources Management (EPGDHRM) (1 year) 

Eligibility: Applicants should have completed their Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent from a recognised university, in any discipline.

Minimum  3 years of work experience after graduation in managerial or supervisory category, preferably in personnel/administration department. 

Fees: Rs. 3,50,000/- Total 


 

Executive PG Diploma in Organisational Development & Change (1 year) 

Eligibility: Candidate should hold  Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent from a recognised university, in any discipline. 

Minimum 3 years of work experience after graduation is required. 

Fees: Rs. 4,00,000/- Total


 

Executive PG Diploma in Analytics (EPGDA) (1 year)

Eligibility: Applicants should have completed their Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent from a recognised university, in any discipline. 

Having at least 2 years of work experience after graduation.

Diploma in Counselling Skills (1 year)

Medium of Instruction: English.

Age: 25 years and above.

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. 

Preference will be given to Working Professionals with 2 or more years of relevant work experience in the social section and people oriented professions such as Social Work, Education, Health and Law and Human Resource Management.

Diploma in Gerontology (1 year)

Eligibility: Medium of Instruction: English. 

Pass in 10+2 Standard.
 
Age Criteria: All candidates must be 25 years or on 1st June of the year of admission for the Diploma Programs.
 
Other Criteria: Preference would be given to those who are working in social work organisations and have two years of work experience.

Diploma in Youth Leadership and Social Change (1 year)

Medium of Instruction: English.

Eligibility: Minimum eligibility is 10+2 standard.

Age: Minimum age shall be 18 years.

Certificate Programs (6 Months) 

Certificate Program in Counselling Skills Program: Entry requirements No previous training or experience in Counselling / Counseling Skill required.

Medium of Instruction: English

Age: 25 and above

 

Certificate Program in Couple and Family Therapy: Completed Masters in Psychology or Masters in Social Work from a recognised university. Minimum three years of experience as a counsellor and with some background of working with couple and family issues Been currently involved in psychosocial interventions with couples and families. 

Medium of Instruction: English. 

 

Certificate Program in Disaster Management: Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with minimum aggregate marks of 50 %. 

In case of SC/ST category, minimum marks shall be obtained 40%.

Eligibility:  Candidate should hold a  1-year/2-semester Master's Degree after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s Degree or a 2-year/4-semester Master’s Degree after a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or qualifications declared equivalent to the Master’s Degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of the educational institution.

A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time. Provided that a candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of andidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.

Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. program with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.

Work Experience: A minimum of five years of post graduation work experience is required for Direct Ph.D programs.

Candidates must complete the application process in online mode. The online application can be saved at any stage.

The candidate can then return to the application by logging in with the respective user name and password at any time before the submission deadline.

Once the application has been submitted online, candidates can choose the mode of payment of the application fees (Credit card, Debit card or net banking).
