Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) invites eligible candidate to take admission in B.Tech and M.Tech program for the academic year 2023-2024

B.Tech (4 year)

Specialization:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Electronics and Telecommunication
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical vocational subject.

To take part of further admission process candidate should obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.

Selection Process: Valid Score in SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE) / Through JEE (Main) & MHT-CET.

Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year:  Candidate should have passed Diploma in Engineering with minimum 45% marks in Three Year Diploma Course.

Candidates who are appearing for the Final Semester exams may also be given provisional admission based on merit upto 5th semester.

Selection Process: Valid Score in SIT EEE/ JEE MAIN/ MHT-CET.

M.Tech (2 year)

Eligibility

M.Tech. in Computer Aided Design and Manufacture: Candidate should have passed B.E./ B.Tech. with  minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent .

M.Tech. in  Electronics & Telecommunication: Candidate should have passed B.E./ B.Tech. with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

M.Tech. in  Computer Science & Engineering: Candidate should have passed B.E. / B.Tech. with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in Computer Science or Information Technology

M.Tech. in Geoinformatics & Surveying Technology: Candidate should have passed Candidate should be an Engineering Graduate (BE/B.Tech), M.Sc. Geoinformatics, M.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Geology, M.Sc. Environmental Science, M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Agriculture or equivalent from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Selection Process: Valid Score in GATE/Entrance Exam conducted by university.

 Make payment through any of the following two modes :

Step 1. Online Payment

SIT EEE Candidates: Make online payment via SIT EEE registration portal (www.set-test.org)

JEE (Main) / MHT-CET Candidates: Make online payment, as directed on the our website (www.sitpune.edu.in)

Step 2. Payment through DD: Take the printout of the application form and send it to the institute along with a demand draft of Rs. 2,750 (Rs. 1,750 for SIT EEE + Rs. 1,000/- Institute Registration) / Rs. 750 (JEE Mains/MHTCET) drawn in favor of Symbiosis Institute ofTechnology payable at Pune. 

Candidates who have successfully done the registration will be able to participate in the counselling.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) M.Tech Admission Procedure 2023

Stept 1. Interested candidate may register online at www.sitpune.edu.in with valid GATE score and /or percentage of marks in qualifying examination.

Step 2.  Candidate who have not appeared in GATE  has to appear in Entrance exam  conducted by the University and the counseling for admission.
