Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) offers MBA/ MBA executive programs for the academic year 2023-2024

MBA (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should be a graduate or a post graduate from a statutory university.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

Defence category candidates should be son/ daughter/ spouse of Defence personnel. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Students appearing in their final year degree examination can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks overall at qualifying exam.

Defence category candidate should be ward of Defence Personnel as mentioned under categories.

Selection Process: Valid Score in SNAP.

Defence Category- General- 80% seats for dependents (Children/Ward) of Defence personnel (as per merit).

Open Category- 10% seats are in open category to civilian candidates sponsored / recommended by the Industry (as per merit).

Defence category- Special- 10% seats for dependents of Defence personnel killed in action (war, Counter Insurgency or war like operation), disabled in action (war, Counter Insurgency or war like operation), with more than 50% disability, next of kin of service personnel who have died while in service, death being attributable to military service.(as per merit)

Selection Procedure: Selection of students shall be done on the basis of Personal Interview.

Mode of Payment: The candidate may pay through

i) Billdesk Gateway

ii) Axis Bank Gateway

iii) Indian Bank Gateway iv) Demand Draft. 

SNAP 2023 exam registration fee, once paid will not be refunded.

Step II: Selection Process at SIBM, Pune:  Short-listed Applicants based on SNAP scores will be called for the selection process at SIBM, Pune. Short listed candidates are announced via a web-link on SIBM Pune’s website as per the scheduled dates. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not called for GE-PIWAT. The entire selection process will be held at PUNE only.

This process includes Group Exercise, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT).
