Symbiosis College of Nursing (SCN) offers admissions to the eligible candidates to the following courses for the academic year 2020-2021

B.Sc. in Nursing (4 year)

Seats: 100

Eligibility:  Candidate's minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Minimum education is 10+2 or an equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE).

Further 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST students.

Candidates shall be medically fit. 

English is compulsory subject in 10+2.

Selection Procedure: Valid Score in SET, Personal Interview.

Fees: Rs. 95,000/- Per Year

Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (2 year)

Seats: 100

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 from recognised board.

Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.

A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas:

- O. T. Techniques
- Community Health Nursing
- Ophthalmic Nursing
- Cancer Nursing
- Leprosy Nursing
- Orthopedic Nursing
- T.B Nursing
- Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing
- Psychiatric Nursing

Candidates shall be medically fit.

Selection Process: Selection is based on Personal Interaction and Qualifying examination.

Fees: Rs. 85,000/- Per Year

M.Sc. in Nursing (2 year)

Seat: 30

Specialization:

• Community Health Nursing
• Medical Surgical Nursing
• Mental Health Nursing

Eligibility:  Candidate should pass exam of B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

Candidate shall be medically fit.

5% Relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.

Minimum one year work experience after basic B.Sc.Nursing is required.

Minimum one year work experience after or prior basic Post basic B.Sc.Nursing is required.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of entrance examination followed by personal interview.

Fees: Rs. 1,20,000/- Per Year

Selection of a candidate to the above  program is based on his/her performance in the following

• Qualifying examination marks (50% weightage)

5. Gap Certificate, if applicable.

6. Certificate of change of name, if applicable supported by documentary evidence like Government Gazette Notification.

7. Character Certificate.

8. Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate.

9. In case of candidates employed with government organization an NOC from the competent authorities.
