Sree Balaji College of Nursing (SBCN): Nursing Courses Admission 2020

Sree Balaji College of Nursing (SBCN) offers following programs for the academic year 2020-2021

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc.-Nursing) (4 year)

Seats: 100

Eligibility: i) Male and Female candidates are eligible.

ii) A candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission / as on 31st December of the year.

iii) Candidates should have passed 10+2 in Science subject from recognised board in the following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and obtained a maximum of 45% marks in each subjects. 

Selection Process: On merit basis.

Fees: Rs. 1,00,000/- Per Year

Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc.-Nursing) (2 year)

Eligibility: 1. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse Registered midwives or equivalent with State Nursing Registration council.

2. Minimum education is B.Sc Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc., Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

3. The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc., Nursing, Post Basic Nursing in any Institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

4. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc., Nursing

5. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after post Basic B.Sc Nursing.

6. Candidate shall be medically fit .

7. 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidate may be given.

8. Preference will be given to candidate with clinical experience on the area of speciality choose.

9. Every candidate must submit the Medical fitness certificate from are authorized Medical officer.

Fees: Rs. 1,25,000/- Per Year

Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (2 year)

Eligibility: 1. The candidates who have successfully completed Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery are eligible for admission.

2. The candidate should be registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council are eligible.

3. In addition, the candidate should have 2 years of work experience.

4. Candidate must be medically fit to undergo the academic course.

Selection Process: On merit basis.

Fees: Rs. 50,000/- Per Year

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Administrative Office, SreeBalaji College of Nursing, Chennai -600 044.

Xerox copies of the mark sheets and other documents should be enclosed to the application form:

i) Transfer certificate from the higher secondary school.

ii) Mark sheet of 10+2 or pre degree or equivalent (Graduation Certificate for PG Programs)

iii) Conduct certificate from head of the institution, wherein the applicant studied for her qualifying examination.

iv) Community certificate.

v) Medical fitness certificate from authorized medical practioner.

vi) Hepatitis B & Typhoid vaccination certificates.

vii) Application with incomplete information and not accompanied by documents required as above will be rejected.

viii) Candidates called for interview should bring all the above certificates and mark sheets in original with them.

ix) When a candidate desires to get admission into the Bharath University, he/she is expected along with his/her eligibility certificate.
