Shiv Nadar University (SNU) offers following programs for the academic year 2024-2025

UG Programs

B.Tech (4 year)

Specialization:

• Chemical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering
• Electrical and Computer Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English mandatory.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

Selection Process: Shiv Nadar University’s selection process has three parts:

Part 1: Eligibility based on Class  10+2 scores as defined in the section - Eligibility for Admissions and Scholarships - Undergraduate Programs.

Part 2: Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) and Academic Proficiency Test (APT) – A combined three hour test to be administered in more than 100 Pearson VUE test centers across India helping every aspirant to participate in the process. SNUSAT and APT will be available as per the details mentioned under section - Key Dates.

Part 3: Review of Application Form for the candidate’s aspiration in life and the ability to be a stakeholder at Shiv Nadar University.

B.A (3 year)

Specialization:

• B.A. (Research) in English

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam from recognised board with English as mandatory.

75% marks in aggregate in 12th board exam (excluding non-academic subjects) with minimum 50% marks in every subject.

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam from any recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be secured 55% and English as a compulsory subject.

Students appearing awaiting their result can also apply provided the required documents.

Selection Process: Valid Score in UCEED/ NID DAT/ NIFT DAT/ NATA/ Shiv Nadar Design Aptitude Test.

Fees: Rs. 6,25,840/- Total

B.Sc. (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam from recognised board in following stream.

B.Sc. (Research) in Biotechnology: English and Biology mandatory Lifesciences/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Botany can be considered in case a candidate does not have Biology as a subject.

B.Sc. (Research) in Chemistry: English, Mathematics and Chemistry mandatory

B.Sc. (Research) in Physics: English, Mathematics and Physics mandatory

B.Sc. (Research) in Mathematics: English and Mathematics mandatory

B.Sc. (Research) in Economics: English & Mathematics mandatory

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam from any recognised board.

Fees: Rs. 16,00,000/- Total

PG Programs

M.Tech (2 year)

Specialization:

• Chemical Engineering

Eligibility:  M.Tech. Civil Engineering: Candidate should hold a B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized Technical Institute or University.

Final-year students can apply while awaiting their results. 

Or

M.S./ M.Sc. students are also eligible under special circumstances (if their academic training and research interests lie in Geoinformatics, Urbanization, Air/Water quality and related Environmental Engineering areas). 

M.Tech. Chemical Engineering: Candidate should hold a B.E/B. Tech. Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline such as  Petroleum Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Technology etc. with overall marks of at least 60% (or minimum 6.5/10 CGPA).

Final year students can apply while awaiting their results.

M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering: Candidate should hold a B.E. / B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology from a recognized Technical Institute or University with minimum of 60% marks.

Applicants waiting for the qualifying examination results are also eligible to apply.

M.Tech. Mechanical Engineering: Candidate should hold a B.E/ B. Tech. Degree in Mechanical/ Production Engineering with overall marks of at least 60% (or minimum 6.5/10 CGPA).

Final year students can apply while awaiting their results.

M.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering: Candidate should hold a B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical / Electronics & Communication discipline from a recognized Technical Institute or University.

Selection Process: Valid Score in GATE.

Fees: Rs. 1,60,000/- Per Year

MBA (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

Selection Process: A Valid Score in CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ NMA/ CMAT or SMAT followed by an interview.

Fees: Rs. 10,00,000/- Total 

M.Sc. (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.Sc. Degree in any field with an aggregate score ofat least 55%.

Additionally, they must have studied mathemat-ics in classes  XI and XII.

Selection Process: The selection process for the master’s program is solely based on the candidate’s performance in the admission test.

Fees: Rs. 1,60,000/- Per Year 

M.A. English (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from the Humanities and Social Sciencesfrom a recognized university or institution at the time of admission with a minimum of 50%.

Candidates from disciplines other than the Humanities and Social Sciences must have a minimum of 65% in their undergraduate degree at the time of admission.

Third year B.A. Candidates are eligible to apply but their final admission iscontingent upon fulfilling the admission criterion outlined above. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in written examination and performance in the last qualifying examination.

Fees: Rs. 1,60,000/- Per Year

MFA (2 year)

Specializations:

• Art
• Design
• Performing Arts 
• Film & Television

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a  BFA /BA degree or equivalent qualifications.

Applicants must also have a portfolio of work demonstrating the necessary skills and aptitude.

Applications from international students with relevant qualifications will be welcomed.

Candidates from related fields such as Communication/ Design/ Applied Art will be considered on thebasis of their portfolio, aptitude, approach and performance during the interview.

Candidates from other backgrounds will be considered on the same basis.

A student having a diploma in an equivalent stream may also be admitted on merit for a Masters’ degre eprogram.

Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks and portfolio for the interview round.

Please note, the admission offers will be provisional in nature and the candidate should  meet the eligibility criteria once the Class XII results are declared.

All applicants to the Master's program are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,200/- (one thousand two hundred only) by credit/debit card, online, or by Demand Draft drawn infavour of “Shiv Nadar University” payable at NOIDA.

In case you have not been able to pay the application fee on-line and are sending it by a bank draft, please send it by speed post to the University at the address given below along with a copy of your application form.
