Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University (RMVU) offers following programs for the academic year 2022-2023

B.A + M.A (Integrated) in Sanskrit (5 year)

Eligibility:  Pass in 10 +2 from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be secured 65% marks.

Only Boys are eligible to apply for course.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Admission Test.

M.Sc. (2 year)

Eligibility: 

M.Sc. in Big Data Analytics: Candidate should hold Degree of B.Sc. (Hons)/ M.Sc. in  Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics (with Econometrics), Physics (with Mathematics and Statistics as general subjects, preferred), secured at least 60% marks in the Hons. subjects in B.Sc. or M.Sc. 

B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science with minimum of 60% marks. 

M.Sc. in Computer Science: Candidate should have Degree in B.Sc. Hons or B.Tech in computer science/engineering with a Diploma in Computer Science, or Bachelor in Computer Applications from any recognized university/ institute  secured at least 60% are eligible.

Only Boys are eligible for the course. 

M.Sc. in Mathematics: Candidate shoul pass B.Sc. (Hons) exam in Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics Or BMath/ BStat/ BE/ B.Tech with an aggregate of at least 60% marks from a recognized university.

M.Sc. in Physics: Candidates should hold Degree in B.Sc (Hons) in Physics with at least 60% marks (55% For Sc/ST) are eligible.

M.Sc. in Yoga:  Candidate should hold Degree of B.Sc.-Yoga from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% Marks for Reserved Category),

Graduation/ Post Graduation in any discipline + Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga, both from recognised University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% Marks for Reserved Category)

Maximum age for

• General category: 28 years as on 01 July of the admission year.
• Reserved categories: 33 years (Age limit relaxation for reserved categories as per Govt. rules).

M.Sc. in Sport Science:  Candidate should hold  Degree of B.Sc (Hons) in Science from recognised university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% Marks for Reserved Category)

B.E./B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% Marks for Reserved Category)

MBBS from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks (45% Marks for Reserved Category)

Maximum age for

• General category: 25 years as on 1/7/ of admission year (for candidates with MBBS age limit is 28 years)
• Reserved categories: 30 years (Age limit relaxation for reserved category as per Govt. rules)

Selection process for all streams of M.Sc.: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Fees for all streams of M.Sc.: Rs. 20,000/- Per Semester.

M.A. in yoga (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Degree of B.A. in Yoga from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% Marks for Reserved Category),

Graduation/ Post Graduation in any discipline + Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga, both from recognised university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% Marks for Reserved Category)

Maximum age for

• General category: 28 years as on 01 July of the admission year.
• Reserved categories: 33 years (Age limit relaxation for reserved categories as per Govt. rules).

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Fees: Rs. 20,000/- Per Semester.

PG Diploma in Yoga (1 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should be Graduate in any stream

Or

BPEd / M.PEd from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for reserved category).

Maximum age shall be 30 years as on 1 July of admission year.

Only Boys can Aplly for the course.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Written Test.

Fees: Rs. 10,000/- Per Semester

Ph.D (3 year)

Specialization:

• Yoga
• Sport Science

Eligibility:

 Ph.D. in Yoga: Candidate should hold Degree of M.Sc. in Yoga or M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Physiology/ Psychology/ Sports Science/ any other allied subject

Or

Postgraduate Degree in Engineering in any discipline

Or

MPT/ MPEd with minimum 55% marks from any recognised university.

Maximum age is 30 years as on 31 August of the admission year.

Candidate should hold M.A. Degree in Sanskrit with minimum 60% marks from recognised university.

Selection Process: (i) Shortlisted JRF candidates will be contacted and called for interview.

(ii) Shortlisted non-JRF candidates will have to appear for Research Eligibility Test (RET).

Ph.D. in Sport Science: Candidate should hold Degree of M.Sc in Exercise & Sports Sciences, Sports Nutrition, Sports Management, Sports Coaching, Exercise Physiology & Nutrition, Sports Biomechanics and Kinesiology, Sports Psychology and Sociology, Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology – with NET qualification in relevant Major.

Ph.D. in Sports Science: M.Sc in Physiology or any field of Life Sciences and allied sciences including Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Home Sciences and Nutrition, with NET qualification.

M.Sc/M.Tech in Physics / Applied Physics / Biophysics / Medical Physics with NET qualification.

JRF candidates will be given preference.

Maximum age should be 28 years as on 01 August of the admission year. 

Selection Process: (i) Shortlisted JRF candidates will be contacted and called for interview.

(ii) Shortlisted non-JRF candidates will have to appear for Research Eligibility Test (RET).
