Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RUVAS) offers following courses for the academic year 2022-2023

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) (5 year)

Eligibility: Candidates should have passed 10+2 with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology  secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

5% Relaxation is given for SC/ST category.

Age: Minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December of admission year. 

The upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December of admission year.

Selection Process: Valid Score in RPVT competitive entrance examination conducted by Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Science.

Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc) (2 year)

 The candidate must be registered with the State Veterinary Council.

M.Sc. (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed B.Sc. in Biology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/LifeSciences with minimum 60% marks  (55% for SC/ST)  marks from recognised Unvierity/Institute.

Selection Process: Valid Score in University Entrance Test.

Ph.D (3 year)

Specialization:

• Veterinary Science

Eligibility:  Candidate should have passed Master Degree in related stream with minimum 55% marks for General category.

5% relaxation will be given to candidate belonging to reserved category.

Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RUVAS) Admission Process 2022

Admission to PG Course: MVSc, Ph.D Program is based on marks secured in Pre PG Entrance Examination conducted by RAJUVAS.

The following categories are exempted from appearing a Pre-PG Test :

• Seats reserved under ICAR nominee.
• Candidates who have qualified for JRF of ICAR/foreign nationals sponsored by ICAR/GOI
• Field extension functionaries deputed by Government of Rajasthan
• In-service candidates of RAJUVAS and/ or considered as “in-service of the university” by the university. However, they will be required to fulfil academic qualifications 

Admission to BVSc and AH is based on score obtained in  RPVT entrance examination conducted by Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Science.

Allocation of seats

1. 85% of sanctioned seats are reserved for Rajasthan domicile candidates.

2. Only 15% of seats are opened for All India Competitive Examination.

3. Regular seats: 28 at Bikaner, 40 at Navania, (Udaipur) and 40 at Jaipur.

4. Payment seats: 40 at Bikaner, 40 at Navania, (Udaipur) and 40 at PGIVR Jaipur.
