Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) offers admission in following UG and PG programs for the academic year 2019-2020

 

BVSc and AH (Veterinary) (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate pass 10+2 in English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and obtained 50% (45% for SC/ST/PH category)

Minimum age should be 17 years and maximum age should be 25 years.

For SC/ST /OBC /Physically Challenged (PH) candidates maximum age should be  30 years.. 

Reservation of seats:  

40% of in seats in the PJTSAU & SKLTSHU and

25% in PVNRTVU are reserved for candidates coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owning not less than ONE acre of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas.

If the land is owned by grandfather, grandmother or guardian or any other relations reservation is not acceptable under farmer quota.

Eligibility:

B.Sc. (Hons) community Science:  Candidate  pass 10+2 with BPC/MPC/MBPC subjects.

Candidates who have passed a three-yearDiploma course in Home Science can also applyfor admission under 10% supernumerary seats quota. 

Minimum age should be 17 years and maximum age should be 22 years.

For SC/ST /OBC candidates maximum age should be 25 years

For Physically Challenged candidates maximum age should be 27 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Only Girls candidates are eligible for the course

Reservation of seats: 85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates and 15% of seats are un-reserved.

B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, Horticulture:  Candidate pass 10+2 in following subjects-

i) Physical Sciences

Selection Process: Valid Score in TS EAMCET.

15% of seats in B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) under ICAR Quota will be filled up by ICAR.

Selection for B.Sc. in Community Science is based on merit  in optional subject of 10+2.

M.Sc. in Agriculture: Candidate should hold 4 years Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks. 

M.Sc. in Home Science:  Candidate pass  4 years B.Sc.(Home Science) / B.H.Sc.(Rural) /B.H.Sc./B.Sc(Hons.) Home Science /B.Sc.(Hons.) Food Science & Nutrition  exam with minimum 50% marks.

3% seats are reserved for Physically disabled candidates as per Govt. norms.

PJTSAU: M.Sc./M.Tech./MBA and Ph.D. Admission Process

Candidates who have passed ICAR entrance examination  are eligible for admission to PJTSAU.

The upper age limit to apply for the course is 40 years as on July 1 of the year of admission.

Selection in  M.Sc./ M.Tech. courses  shall be done on the basis of their previous academic record at Under Graduate level (30% weightage) and performance in the entrance test (70% weightage) conducted by ICAR through AIEEA PG.

In case of MBA Agri-Business Management, the selection shall be based on the performance in entrance test, conducted by ICAR through AIEEA PG.

For MBA Course 10% seats are reserved for NRIs / Industry Sponsored Candidates.

Selection for Ph.D. shall be based on the previous academic record at under graduate/ post graduate level and performance test conducted by ICAR through AICE-JRF/SRF(PGS). The weightage would being the ratio of 10:30:60 (10% B.Sc. Marks, 30% M.Sc Marks and 60% Entrance Marks).

d) Study certificates from Heads of recognised educational institutions from VI class onwards.  (Thosho appeared for any examination by private study should enclose residence certificate.)

e) Cast certificate issued by the competent authority, in case of candidates belonging to reserved category and claim the same.

f) Certificate regarding Sport,  any Cultural,  Literary if  if applicable.

g) Date of birth certificate for age proof.

h) Certificate towards physically disabled, if any

i) Residential (Latest certificate issued by the Telangana Government), Certificate.

j) Any Govt ID (Aadhaar Card /Passport/ Ration card / Bank  Passbook).

k) Conduct certificate for the Head of the institute from the last attended.
