B.Sc. (3 year)

Specialization:

• CND (Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam or its equivalent with at least Biology and Chemistry as two optional subjects.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Aptitude Test and Personal Interview.

BCA (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam or its equivalent from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

B.Voc (3 year)

• Food Processing and Nutraceuticals
• Medical Lab Technology
• Medical Biotechnology
• Food Technology and Quality Management

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam or its equivalent.

BBA (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam or its equivalent from recognised board.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Aptitude Test and Personal Interview.

B.Com (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 exam or its equivalent from recognised board.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Aptitude Test and Personal Interview.

MBA (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

M.Com (2 year)

Eligibility: A candidate should hold B.Com/ BBM/ BBA Degree from any recognized university and has secured not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate in all the Commerce/Management courses shall be eligible for admission.

In the case of SC/ STstudents and Physically challenged students eligibility for admission is 45%.

M.Sc. in Food Science & Nutrition (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree from recognised university/ institute. 

Minimum  marks shall be secured 50%.

M.Sc. in Microbiology (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a 

B.Sc. Degree with any Life Science subject securing minimum 50% marks in all the three optional subjected in aggregate. 

B.Sc., Biotechnology/B.Sc., Biotechnology (integrated) with 50% marks in aggregate. 

B.Sc., (Honours) in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology or Biology with 50% marks in aggregate. 

Bachelor in Agricultural Sciences, Dairy Sciences, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Pharmacy, BE (Biotechnology), Medicine, Dental, and Agriculture Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in Aptitude Test and Personal Interview.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a 

B.Sc. Degree with any Life Science subject securing minimum 50% marks in all the three optional subjected in aggregate. 

B.Sc., Biotechnology/B.Sc., Biotechnology (integrated) with 50% marks in aggregate. 

B.Sc., (Honours) in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology or Biology with 50% marks in aggregate.

M.Sc. in Clinical Nutrition and Food Science (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate from recognised university/ institute.

M.Sc. in Biochemistry (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate must hold B.Sc. Degree securing minimum 40% in aggregate and studied Chemistry or Biochemistry as one of the cognate subjects securing at least 50% marks at B.Sc. level and studied Biology at 10+2 level. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in Aptitude Test and Personal Interview.

PG Diploma Programs (1 year)

Specialization:

• Nutraceuticals and Food Processing
• Plant Genetic Transformation, Genome, Seed & Marker Analysis
• Plant Tissue Culture and Micropropagation

Eligibility:  Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in Master's Degree from universities of the state or any other university recognized as equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or any other life science related courses; B.E./ B.Tech. – Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Agriculture, Veterinary, MBBS and BDS are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared for the M.Sc / B.E. final exams can also apply. Upon selection, a provisional degree certificate should be submitted to the respective colleges within two weeks of course commencement.

Step 2: Take a print out of the admissions application form

Step 3: Fill up the Complete the Admission Application Form. Ensure you have filled up all columns and signed the Declaration Statement in the application form.

Step 4: Attach attested copies of documents mentioned below in "Application - Documents" area.

Step 5: Send the Admission Application form along with attached documents and Demand Draft for Rs. 8,000/- drawn in favour of Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences payable at Bangalore to the mail address given below by speed post/courier.

Step 6: Confirm by email message to PIMS Admission Cell the details of application and documents sent.
