Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 with minimum 45% in case of general category and 40% for reserved category.

Age: Unreserved/ NRIs/ NRI Sponsored categories candidates age shall be below  20 years on 1st July of admission year.

 Reserved Category Candidates  age shall be 22 years.

Ph.D. in Law  (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate must have Master's Degree in Law from any recognized University securing not less than 55% marks.

or

Minimum 50% marks  who  have had at least five years full-time teaching/ judicial/ professional/ administrative experience in the subject.

or

Degree in Law and a Masters Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities, Management Studies or Sciences from any recognized University with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent in grade.

or

Obtained a Degree in Law and a Masters Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities, Management Studies or Sciences from any recognized University with 50% marks and have had at least five years full time teaching/ judicial/ professional/ administrative experience in the subject.

or

Obtained a Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Sciences, Humanities or Management from any recognize University with 55% marks and have had at least  two years of teaching experience.

or

Ph.D in any discipline.

or 

Judge of any State High Court in India or the Supreme Court of India.

Selection Process: Valid Score in NET/JRF/Entrance Exam.

Filled up Application Forms  should be reached at the below mentioned address along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,500/- in favor of The Registrar, National Law University, Orissa payable at “Cuttack” on or before due date

Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained.

The University will not be responsible for any postal/courier loss or delay.

Dully filled up application form should be accompanied with required documents and submitted to the college.

Applicants are required to submit the following:

1. Completed application form

2. Three copies of the proposed research topic (10 Pages) of a contemporary issue with the broad frame work of Law & related subjects.

3. A demand draft of Rs. 5,000/- drawn in favour of “Registrar National Law University Odisha”

4. Attested photocopies of eligibility qualification certificates and mark sheets.

5. One set of published papers, monographs, articles and books (if applicable).

6. Certificate from the Institution concerned testifying the length of service (if required).

7. A passport size photograph.
