National Law School of India University (NLSIU) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024
BA LLB (Hons) (5 year)
Seats: 180
Eligibility: A Pass in 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of
(i) 45% of marks in case of candidates belonging to unreserved/ OBC/ Specially Abled Persons/ NRI/ NRI Sponsored categories and
(ii) 40% of marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories.
Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April, 2022 are also eligible to apply.
There is no age limit for the course.
Selection Process: Valid Score in CLAT.
Fees: Rs. 1,91,850/- Per Year
LLB (Hons) (3 year)
Seats: 60
Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree from recognised university/ institute.
Minimum marks shall be secured 45%.
Applicants in the SC/ ST category should have graduated with an aggregate of not less than 40% of total marks.
Students in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree are also eligible to apply.
Selection Process: Admission to the program will be through a three-stage national-level examination process.
The first two stages will comprise an all-India written admissions test, the National Law School Admissions Test (NLSAT).
The third stage will be an interview.
Fees: Rs. 2,01,445/- Per Year
LLM (1 year)
Seats: 75
Specialization:
Eligibility: Candidate mut hold LLB Degree with a minimum 55%.
In case of reserved category, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.
There is no provision for direct admission of Foreign Nationals into the postgraduate course.
Selection Process: Valid Score in CLAT.
Fees: Rs. 1,16,100/- Per Year
M.A. Public Policy (2 year)
Seats: 75
Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree from recognised national or international university.
Minimum marks shall be secured 45%.
Applicants in the SC/ ST category should have graduated with an aggregate of not less than 40% of total marks.
Students in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree are also eligible to apply.
Selection Process: Admission to the program will be through a three-stage national-level examination process.
The first two stages will comprise an all-India written admissions test, the Policy Aptitude Test (PAT).
The third stage will be personal interview.
Fees: Rs. 2,08,290/- Per Year
Ph.D. in Law (3 year)
Eligibility: Candidate should hold LLM Degree.
Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.
In case of SC/ ST candidate, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.
Selection Process: Valid Score in Admission Test.
A separate Admission Test shall be conducted to the candidates who have qualified for UGC NET / JRF, SLET, M.PHIL and Foreign Nationals.
Fee
Course Work Fee (at the time of admission): Rs. 30,000/-
M.Phil. in Law (1 year)
Eligibility: a) Candidate should hold LLM Degree from recognized university securing ‘B+’ grade or an aggregate of 55% marks or its equivalent.
b) Candidate with MPP (Master of Public Policy) through regular mode from a recognized university securing an aggregate of 55% marks or its equivalent grade (50% of marks or its equivalent grade in case of SC/ ST/ SAP) will be considered for M.Phil. in Public Policy.
Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.
A separate Admission Test shall be conducted to the candidates who have qualified for UGC NET / JRF, SLET, M.PHIL and Foreign Nationals.
Course Work Fee (at the time of admission): Rs. 30,000/-
NLSIU: LLM, BA LLB Admission Process 2022
Admission to the BA LLB and LLM program will be through CLAT.
Application Fee
For General/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI candidates: Rs. 4,000/-
For SC/ ST/ BPL category candidates: Rs. 3,500/-
The candidates themselves will have to bear the bank transaction charges for remitting the fee online.

Application Fees is non-refundable.

NLSIU: M.A Admission Process 2023
Online application form for the program will be available on NLSIU’s website from 18 January 2022.
Application fees shall be Rs. 2,000/- (Two thousand only). Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disabilities shall be required to pay Rs. 1,500/- (One thousand five hundred only).
