Certificate Course in Care Giving - RCI. (6 Months)

Seats: 30

Eligibility: Candidate must be minimum 8th standard or equivalent pass.

Applicant age should be minimum 18 years at the time of applying for the training. 

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected as per the norms and guidelines of the National Trust.

Students are required to pass in theory and practical individually. In the event of the candidate failing in the final examination,he/she can avail chances for supplementary examinations as per scheme of examinations.

Passing marks for theory 40% and practical 50% respectively.

Specialization:

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2/ H.Sc/ Intermediate with 50% of marks.

Reservation for the SC/ST/OC/PWD/EWS category foradmission will be applicable as per Govt. rules of the concerned State/Central Govt.

Selection Process:  Valid Score in “ALL INDIA ONLINE APTITUDE TEST (AIOAT) CONDUCT BY RCI – NEW DELHI.

Reservation:  Reservation for ST/ SC/ OBC/ PwD/ KM/ WW & North East candidates as per GOI rules &  Orders of EC/ RCI/ TN Govt.

Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) (4 year)

Seats: 27

Eligibility: Candiate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics (or) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science (or) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) Physics, Chemistry and Biology Subjects taken together at the qualifying examination after a period of 12 years of study, secured minimum 50% marks in 10+2.

Minimum age should be 17 years.

Selection Process: Admission will be done on the following basis.

• Theory -50%
• Practical- 50%

The downloaded application form dully filled in should be submitted on orbefore due date15.06.2023 only by post/ in person. The filled in applicationform should be forwarded to the Director, NIEPMD with an application fee ofRs.1000/-(500/-for SC/ST/ EWS) by way of demand draft in favour of Director,NIEPMD(D). PwD candidates are exempted from application fee.

M.Ed. Spl. Education - Autism Spectrum Disorder (2 year)

Seats: 20

1. Candidate who has successfully passed B.Ed Spl Education(ASD) with minimum 50% marks from recognised University

2. A candidate who has passed B.Ed (General) with minimum 50% marks and D.Ed/ Diploma in Special Education (ASD) with minimum 50% marks

3. A candidate who has passed B.Ed Spl Education (MR) with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university

4. A candidate who has passed B.Ed Spl Education (MD) with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university

5. Candidate should have a valid RCI, CRR Number. 

M.Ed. Spl. Education - Multiple Disabilities (2 year)

Seats: 20

a) Candidate who has successfully passed B.Ed Spl.Edn. with minimum 50% marks in respective disability area from a recognized university or any other degree considered equivalent to B.Ed Spl. Edn. from University recognized by U.G.C. with RCI registration.

b) A candidate who has successfully passed the B.Ed. General course and has successfully completed Diploma in Education Special Education in respective disability area recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with minimum 50 % marks in each course.

c) A candidate having passed PG Diploma of RCI, New Delhi (Till Academic session 2014-15)

d) A candidate with B.Ed. in particular specialization may be allowed for M.Ed. cross disability/ multicategory (as and when offered) but the reverse is not allowed. B.Ed. with multi-category should not be admitted for specialization in a single disability at the M.Ed. level, however; as part of CBCS, these can be admitted to B.Ed. Spl. Edn. Area C Courses and complete the Specialization Courses to qualify for a particular disability. On completion of Area C, these can be admitted to the M.Ed. Spl.Ed in a specific disability.

e) A candidate with B.A/B.Sc/B.Com B.Ed-Spl.Edn (4 years integrated)

f) Candidate should have valid RCI.

BEd Spl. Education (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a

A Bachelor Degree from an U.G.C approved University in any of the Secondary School subjects in the pattern of 10+2+3

Or

11+1+3, Bachelors degree in Engineering

Or

Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% of marks. Candidates with the following marks in U.G degree in Secondary School subjects are eligible (O.C – 50%, B.C / B.C.M – 45%, M.B.C / D.N.C – 43%, S.C / S.T – 40%, P.H - a minimum pass in the requisite qualification)

Or

P.G Degree in Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture from an U.G.C approved University with minimum marks of 50%.

Selection Process: Admission will be offered to candidates on the following basis-

Marks obtained in the qualified examination : 50 Marks
Higher Qualification : 10 Marks
Experience (Minimum of 2 years) : 05 Marks
Parent / Sibling / Ward of Pw.D: 10 Marks
Rural Students : 05 Marks
Interview : 20 Marks

Fees: Rs. 37,500/- Per Year

Post Graduate Diploma in Early Intervention (1 year)

Selection Process:

Considering-60% of the EC mark - 60 marks

Rural student - 5 marks

Parent/siblings/ward of PWD - 10marks

Higher qualification - 05marks

Interview - 20marks

Total - 100 marks
