NFSU: School of Forensic Science

B.Sc. - M.Sc. Forensic Science (5 year)

Seats: 40

Eligibility: Candidate should pass out in 10+2 or its equivalent in n Science, Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics from recognised board.

To take part in further selection process, candidate has to secured at least 55% marks (or equivalent cumulative grade point index) for General & OBC & 50% in case of  SC/ ST category.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test conducted by National Forensic Sciences University as per NFAT-2023.

Fees: Rs. 65,000/- Per Semester


 

M.Sc. in Forensic Science (2 year)

Seats: 90

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Science / Forensic Science/ Medicine / Engineering / Pharmacy from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

In case of SC/ST OBC candidate minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test conducted by National Forensic Sciences University as per NFAT-2023.

Fees: Rs. 65,000/- Per Semester


 

M.Sc. in Forensic Odontology (2 year)

Seats: 20

Eligibility: Candidate should be holding a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

In case of SC/ST OBC candidate minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test conducted by the Gujarat Forensic Science University.

Fees: Rs. 40,000/- Per Semester


 

M.Sc. in Multimedia Forensics (2 year)

Seats: 20

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.Sc. Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, Electronics with minimum 55% aggregate.

Or

B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication with minimum 55% aggregate.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test conducted by National Forensic Sciences University as per NFAT-2023.

Fees: Rs. 65,000/- Per semester


 

M.Sc. in Forensic Biotechnology (2 year)

Seats: 20

Eligibility: Candidate shoud hold a Bachelor's Degree  in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Life Science, Environment Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Forensic Science, Agricultural Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, or other discipline of Biological Sciences or B. Tech. in Biotechnology from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 55 % .

For SC/ST category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test conducted by National Forensic Sciences University as per NFAT-2023.

M.A Mass Communication and Journalism (with specialization in Forensic Journalism) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate seeking admission should possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate score of 55% for General/OBC/EWS category candidates. 

For candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PwD categories, a minimum aggregate score of 50% or its equivalent is required for eligibility. 

These eligibility requirements have been carefully established to ensure that candidates from diverse backgrounds who have demonstrated a strong academic foundation are considered for admission.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Science / Forensic Science/ Medicine / Engineering/Pharmacy with minimum from recogniseduniversity/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained of 55%.

In case of SC / ST Candidates minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Eligibility for consideration in the selection process is contingent upon achieving a valid score in the qualifying degree. Candidates must demonstrate their aptitude and proficiency in their respective fields through the attainment of a recognized and acceptable score in their academic qualifications.

NFSU: School of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics

M.Tech. in Cyber Security (2 year)

Seats: 50

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering or Technology in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Electronics & Communication/ Information Technology or M.Sc. (IT/CS/E&C) / MCA or equivalent from a recognized university.

To take part in further selection process, candidate has to secured at least 55% marks (or equivalent cumulative grade point index) for General & OBC & 50% in case of  SC/ ST category.

Selection Process:  Admission is donebased on the EntranceExaminationconducted by NFSU (NFAT -2023) / GATE score. Two separatemerit list are preparedfor the program onebased on GATE score,and the other based onmarks obtained in theNFSU EntranceExamination (NFAT2023).

50% of theseats will be filledthrough GATE scoresand other 50% basedon the score secured inthe NFSU entrance test.

The admissioncommittee willconsider a cut-off scorein each category, basedon the applicationsreceived and the seatsavailable. If any seat inone category is notfilled, it will beallocated to the othercategory.

M.Sc. Cyber Security (2 year)

Seats: 50

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Degree of B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Engineering (CE) / Technology OR Computer Science and  Engineering (CSE) OR Information Technology (IT) OR Information and Communication Technology (ICT) OR Electronics and Communication (EC) OR B.Sc. (Information Technology (IT)/Computer Science (CS)/Electronics) OR Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) OR equivalent qualification from recognized university.

To take part in further selection process, candidate has to secured at least 55% marks (or equivalent cumulative grade point index) for General & OBC & 50% in case of  SC/ ST category.

Selection Process: On the basis of Entrance Exam conducted by National Forensic Sciences  University (NFAT- 2023) or based on merit  prepared considering percentage in Bachelor's Degree.

M.Sc. in Digital Forensics and Information Security (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.E/ B.Tech Degree in Computer Engineering/ Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology Engineering or Information and Communication technology or B.Sc. (IT/ CS/Math/ Electronics/ Forensic Science with computer forensics) or Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) or equivalent qualification from recognized university.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

In case of SC/ST OBC candidate minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: On the basis of Entrance Exam conducted by National Forensic Sciences University (NFAT- 2023) or based on merit  prepared considering percentage in Bachelor's Degree Or based on merit prepared considering percentage in Bachelor's Degree.

B.Tech- M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) (5 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 (or its equivalent) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory  subjects along with one subject out of Chemistry / Biology / Information Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subjects / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship or any other equivalent subjects with a minimum of 60%  marks (55 % for SC/ ST/ PwD category) in the above subjects taken all together (aggregate). 60% aggregate will be calculated on the basis of marks of Physics, Mathematics and maximum marks secured in Chemistry or Biology or Information Practices or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subjects or Business Studies or Entrepreneurship or any other equivalent subjects.

Selection Process: On the basis of Entrance Exam conducted by National Forensic Sciences University (NFAT- 2023) or based on merit  prepared considering percentage in Bachelor's Degree Or based on merit prepared considering percentage in Bachelor's Degree.

PG Diploma Cyber Physical System (1 year)

Seats: 20

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering & Technology in any field from recognised university/ institute.

 Minimum marks shall be secured 55% marks (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examinations.

Selection Process: Eligibility for consideration in the selection process is contingent upon achieving a valid score in the qualifying degree. Minimum marks shall be secured 55% marks (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examinations.

NFSU: Institute of Management and Training

BBA-MBA (with Specialization in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation / Financial Management/ Business Analytics and Intelligence) (5 year)

Seats: 40

Eligibility: Candidate should passed or appeared in 10+2 (or its equivalent) examination in any stream.

Minimum marks shall be secured 60% for General/ OBC/ EWS Category candidates and 55% or equivalent for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.

Candidates appearing in 12th Standard can apply subject to meeting minimum eligibility criteria in the prescribed time limit as decided by the University.

Selection Process: On the basis of Entrance Exam (NFAT -2023) conducted by National Forensic Sciences University. Merit will be prepared based on NFSU entrance exam result.

Fees: Rs. 65,000/- Per Semester


 

MBA Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation (2 year)

Seats: 30

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree with minimum 55% marks.

For SC/ ST candidates minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelor’s Degree can also apply  subject to meeting minimum eligibility criteria within the prescribed time limit as the decided by the University.

Selection Process: Admission to the MBA programs will be given on the following basis.

Candidates who have appeared at Common Admission Test (year 2022) conducted by Indian  -Institute of Management can apply. In Addition to CAT, candidates are also required to apply  or admission at School of Management Studies, National Forensic Sciences University separately.

AND/ OR

Candidates can also apply for the entrance exam conducted by National Forensic Sciences University. Merit list will be prepared based on the CAT score/Entrance exam score conducted by National Forensic Sciences University. 50% of the total seats will be fill-up through CAT score and remaining 50% will be fill up through the entrance test conducted by NFSU. However, if any seats remain vacant under CAT category, it will be filled up though NFSU entrance test (NFAT – 2023) category and vice versa.

Fees: Rs. 75,000/- Per Semester


 

MBA in Cyber Security Management (2 year)

Seats: 30

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.E/B.Tech Degree  (Computer Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/Information and Communication Technology/ Electronics and Communication) with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

Or

B.Sc. in Information Technology Computer Science B.Sc. in Forensic Science with cyber forensics or computer forensic or cyber security with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

Or

BCA with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

Or

Any graduate with specialization with computer science or information technology or computer application with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. For reserved category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (as per Government norms).

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test conducted by the Gujarat Forensic Science University.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree with minimum 55% marks.

For SC/ ST candidates minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelor’s Degree can also apply  subject to meeting minimum eligibility criteria within the prescribed time limit as the decided by the University.

Eligibility:  Candidate should hold a M.A/M.Sc. Degree in Psychology from recognised university/ institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

For SC/ST category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Selection Process:   Admissions will be based on  the performance in the Entrance Test (NFAT -2023) (90% Weightage =90 marks) and (10% weightage= 10 marks) interview conducted by the National Forensic Sciences University.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

For SC/ST candidates, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Candidate should secure valid score in CLAT exam.

LLB (Hons)

Seats: 40

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

For SC/ST candidates, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Admission shall be undertaken on the basis of the rank obtained by the candidates in the All-India Entrance Examination conducted by School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies,  National Forensic Sciences University (NFAT -2023).

LL.M (1 year)

Specialization:

  • Cyber Law and Cyber Crime Investigation
  • Criminal Law and Criminal Justice Administration

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a LLB Degree or five year integrated law from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

For SC/ST candidates, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Candidate should secure valid score in PGCLAT exam.

PG Diploma Cyber Law (1 year)

Seats: 20

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Graduate degree from any discipline.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50% for General / OBC (NCL)/ EWS category candidates, and 45% for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Degree of  B.E. /B.Tech./M.Sc./MCA or equivalent in appropriate branches from recognized university.

To take part in further selection process, candidate has to secured at least 55% marks (or equivalent cumulative grade point index) for General & OBC & 50% in case of  SC/ ST category.

Selection Process: NFSU will conduct an Entrance Test (NFAT - 2023) for Non-GATE qualified candidates.

 50% of the total seats will be filled through the GATE qualified candidates and remaining 50% will be filled through NonGATE qualified candidates based on their NFSU Entrance Test's Score.

The admission committee may decide a cut-off score in each category, based on the applications received and the seats available.

In case GATE qualified applicants are lesser than the available seats then the university may allot those vacant seats of GATE qualified  quota to the Non-GATE qualified candidates based on their NFSU Entrance Test's Score. (NFAT -2023)

Agriculture Sciences/ Environmental Science/ Chemistry from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50% for General / OBC (NCL)/ EWS category candidates, and 45% for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. 

Selection Process: Selection will be based on the basis of Entrance Exam conducted by National Forensic Sciences University (NFAT - 2023) or based on merit prepared considering percentage in Bachelor's Degree.

Fees: Rs. 65,000/- Per Semester
