NEF Law College (NEF- LC) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

BA LLB (Hons) (5 year)

Seats: 120

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks, 42% for OBC and 40% Sc/ST category as per bar council of India.

Maximum age should be 20 years for general category and 22 years for SC/ST canddiates.

Reservation as per norms laid in relevant Act/ rule of Govt./ Gauhati University/ Bar Council of India.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Examination conducted by the College.

Fees: Rs. 20,000/- Per Semester

BBA LLB (Hons) (5 year)

Seats:  60

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks, 42% for OBC and 40% Sc/ST category as per bar council of India.

LLB (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree  with minimum 45% marks, 42% for OBC and 40% Sc/ST category as per bar council of India.

Maximum age should be 30 years for general category and 35 years for SC/ST candidates.

Reservation as per norms laid in relevant Act/ rule of Govt./ Gauhati University/ Bar Council of India.

Fees: Rs. 18,000/- Per Semester

LLM (1 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed  LLB/ Five Year Integrated Degree in Law from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks.

In case of SC/ST candidates, minimum marks shall be 45%.

Reservation as per norms laid in relevant Act/ rule of Govt./ Gauhati University/ Bar Council of India.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Written Test.

Fees: Rs. 30,000/- Per Semester

NEF Law College (NEF- LC) Admission Process 2023

Interested candidate may visit college office to get admission form & prospectus on payment of Rs. 500/-

Or

Candidate may send DD for Rs. 550/- made in favour of "NEF Law College" payable at Guwahati to get admission form and prospectus at their place.
Admission Form & Prospectus can also be downloaded from the website : www.nefcollege.org .

A Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Five hundred only) has to be enclosed with the downloaded Form.

Students are required to upload the following documents if apply admission online. 

(a) Birth Certificate or 10th or equivalent Examination Certificate.

(b) 10+2 and 10th or equivalent examination Marksheets & Pass Certificate

(c) Degree Marksheet & Pass Certificate (if not passed Five Year Integrated law program)

(d) LL.B. / Five Year Law Marksheets & Pass Certificates (for LLM only)

(e) Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended

(f) Caste / Tribe Certificate from Competent Authority (if applicable)

(g) Migration Certificate (wherever applicable. It can be submitted after Admission)

Off-line applicants who wants to appear in the Entrance examination should fill up the enclosed Application Formand submit the same to the College Office on or before the mentioned last date of submission of ApplicationForms. Along with the duly filled in Application form, the student should submit

• 5 (five) recent stamp sizephotographs and
• 2 (two) self addressed envelops.

They should also obtain their Admit Card / Hall Ticket aftersubmitting their Application forms.

Documents submitted at the time of admission

1) 10+2  or equivalent Examination Admit Card for age proof.

2) Pass Certificate & Marksheet of 10+2 or equivalent examination.

3) Pass Certificate, Registration Certificate & Marksheet of 10+2 or equivalent examination.

4) Migration Certificate for others state students and other boards student except SEBA.
