Mizoram University (MU) offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

B.Tech (4 year)

Specialization:

• Civil Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• B.Tech. Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Information Technology

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics ( 45% for SC /ST candidate). 

Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year: Candidate holding 3-year diploma in Engineering in relevant branch with a minimum of 60% (relaxable by 5% for SC/ ST candidates) marks. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in MZUEEE/ JEE MAIN.

50% seats are for Mizoram University Engineering Entrance Examination (MZUEEE).

50% seats  from JEE (CSAB).

Fees: Rs. 32,400/- Per Semester

B.Arch (5 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

45% for SC /ST candidate.

Mathematics should be a subject in 10+2.

Selection Process: Valid Score in NATA/ JOSAa.

50% seats are for NATA.

50 seats for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAa).

Fees: Rs. 16,200/- Per Semester

B.Ed (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree and/or in Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities from recognised university/ institute.

Or

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 55%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Fees: Rs. 6,750/- Per Semester

MBA (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT, Personal Interview and GD.

Fees: Rs. 40,500/- Per Semester

M.Ed (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.Ed./ B.A.B.Ed/ B.Sc. B.Ed./ B.El. Ed/ D.El. Ed Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Fees: Rs. 6,750/- Per Semester

Eligibility: Candidate should hold  B.A. (Hons) Degree with at least 50% marks in relevant discipline.

Master of Journalism & Mass Communication (MJMC) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks.

Selection Process:  Admission will be on merit basis.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a BSW / B.Sc /B.Sc (Hons) Degree in Social work.

Selection Process:  Admission will be on merit basis.

Candidate should keep ready following documents:

Scanned copy of Passport size color Photograph.              

Scanned copy of the original Qualifying Examination Certificate / Marksheet.       

Scanned copy of any one of the original documents mentioning Date of Birth i.e. X Marksheet or School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate / Character Certificate issued by school authority.       

Pay registration fee Rs. 100/-
