Manipur Institute of Technology (MIT) offers following programs for the academic year 2022-2023

B.E (4 year)

Specialization:

• Civil Engineering
• Computer Sc. & Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility: Candidate should passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for CE and ME Courses

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and one of the following subjects (Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship) for CSE, ECE and EE Courses.

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Selection Process: Preference shall be given to JEE(Main) positive score candidates.

Lateral Entry- Duration 3 year: Passed Minimum 3 years / 2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.

Or

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Or

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. 

Selection Process: The seats will be filled up based on the marks secured in qualifying examination (50%) and Admission Test (50%) to be conducted by the Institute.

Selection Procedure:

• Selection of candidates will be based on score in All India marks of the candidate in JEE (Mains).
• The cut off will be decided by the institute for admissions.
• Annual intake is 115 for all the courses, 10% extra seats for lateral entry.
• On the merit basis in JEE (Mains) candidates will be called for the counselling strictly.

Note:  For SC/ ST candidates there will be relaxation of 5% in the above-mentioned qualifying examination.

Fees: Rs. 31,030/- Per Semester 

M.Tech (2 year)

Specialization:

Eligibility: A Candidate shall be eligible if she/he holds a Bachelor Degree in appropriate branch of engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60% of marks or First Class. 

Selection Process: Allotment of seats shall be done on the basis of GATE Score and availability of preferred choices of M. Tech. Courses entered by the candidate in the Application Form.

Vacant seats, if any, shall be filled-up based on the marks secured in qualifying examination (50%) and Admission Test (50%) to be conducted by the Institute.

Candidates falling under sponsored category should furnish Sponsorship Letter from the competent authority at the time of submission of the application.

Fees: Rs. 33,130/- Per Semester

Application may be applied only at www.manipuruniv.ac.in with an application fee of Rs. 300/- for UR/ OBC and Rs. 200/- for SC/ ST candidates to be paid online.

• · Incomplete applications shall be summarily rejected.
