Karnataka College of Nursing (KCN): UG and PG Admission 2020

Karnataka College of Nursing (KCN) offers following programs for the academic year 2020-2021

B.Sc. in Nursing (4 year)

Eligibility: 1. Candidate shoud have passed 10+2 in science or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with science subjects, wise Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 

2.  Candidate should have secured minimum 45%. (40% for reserved category). 

4.  Candidate should have completed 17 years on or before 31st day of December of the year admission. 

5. Candidate shall be medically fit.


 

 M.Sc. in Nursing (2 year)

Eligibility: 1 Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.  

2. Candidate should hold Degree in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks, in case of SC/ST category minimum  50% marks required.

3. The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. 

4. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing. 

5. Candidate shall be medically fit. 


 

Post Basic (BSc Nursing)

Eligibility: A candidate should 

i) hold a diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) 

ii) be a registered nurse 

iii) have a minimum of two years experience in a hospital or community health nursing. 

iv) have passed pre university examination in arts/science/commerce conducted by Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. 

v) No candidate who is above 48 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission shall be eligible. 

vi) be medically fit 

vii) have good personnal and professional record.


 

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 in Science with English as a subject, obtained minimum  40% at the qualifying examination . 

Candidate should be a registered ANM with pass mark. 

Candidate shall be medically fit. 

Minimum age required for the coruse is 17 years and  maximum 35 years.

Pay your application fee. 

Follow your application status through you registered mail. 

Receive and print out your Notification of Selection Results and course fee details then precede for Provisional admission letter. 

Pay your Provisional admission fee against to your application number. 

Follow the instructions and time bounds mentioned in the Provisional admission letter to get confirmed admission letter.
