Jamia Hamdard University (JHU) invites application for eligible candidate to take admision in following programs for the academic year 2021-2022

JHU: Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research

MBBS (4.5 year)

Seats: 100

Eligibility:

Age limit: He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete theage on or before 31st December of the year of his/ her admission to the 1st year MBBS course. 

There is no upper age limit for NEET as per Supreme Court’s directive on31.03.2017

Candidate should have passed 10+2 eith Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than core courseof English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Trainingafter the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by theNational Committee on education. 

Candidates must have passed the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually with minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination

5% relaxation for resrved category.

Selection Process: Valid Score in NEET-UG.

MD/MS (3 year)

Eligibility:

Age limit: There is no Upper age limit for admission to PG Medical courses. 

Qualifying examination: Applicants should be in possession of MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate recognized by MCI with MBBS qualification registered permanently or provisionally with MCI or State Medical Council and should have completed one year of internship.

Admission to such candidate will be given only after obtaining registration of Delhi Medical Council. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in NEET-PG.

Candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree (Life sciences)/MBBS/BDS/BPT. 55% marks at Bachelor level (with pharmacology as subject). However for MBBS/BDS candidates, the eligibility criteria will be 50%marks. Candidates having MBBS will be directly admitted to 2nd year of three years MSc. In the first year, students will attend classes in their respective discipline with MBBS 1st / 2nd year students.

M.Sc. in Medical Physiology

A candidate must have passed MBBS or a degree course in allied Medical Sciences with Human Physiology as a major subject from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

MBBS degree holder  will be directly admitted to 2nd year of three years MSc. In the first year, students will attend classes in their respective disciplines with MBBS 1st year students.

In the Entrance Test 30% weightage willbe given to ‘Research Aptitude Test’ and 70% to ‘Subject Specific Assessment’.

There will be no exemption for entrance test for research staff appointed insponsored research projects, if they are not from the exemption category. The syllabus for subject specific test will generally be the same as in the Masters (PG) program taught at Jamia Hamdard.

Kamil-e-Tib-o-Jarahat (BUMS) (5.5 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 with with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% in aggregate.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Degree of BCA/ B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 50%.

Selection Process: Merit in the qualifying examination.


Ph.D. (3 year)

Specialization:

  • Computer Science & Engineering
  • Computer Science

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Master Degree in related stream from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 60%.

Selection Process: Admission to Ph.D. program in Jamia Hamdard will be in two stages:

(1) Entrancetest, followed by (2) interview/interaction.

The weightage will be 80% and 20% for entrance test and interviews, respectively.

In the Entrance Test 30% weightage willbe given to ‘Research Aptitude Test’ and 70% to ‘Subject Specific Assessment’.

There will be no exemption for entrance test for research staff appointed insponsored research projects, if they are not from the exemption category. The syllabus for subject specific test will generally be the same as in the Masters (PG) program taught at Jamia Hamdard.
