Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) offers admission in various programs for the academic year 2020-2021

 

Bachelor of Statics (B.Math) (Hons) (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate pass 10+2 with Mathematics and English as subjects from recognised institute/ university.


 

Master of Mathematics (M.Math) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate has to pass  a three year Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics,

or

B.E/B.Tech Degree, with Mathematics as a subject,

or

B.Stat degree from ISI.


 

Master of Science in Library and Information Science (Mlisc) (2 year)

Eligibility: Applicant has to pass three-year Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.


 

MS (Quality Management  Science) (2 year)

Eligibility: 

(i) Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics as a subject,

or

(ii) B.E/B.Tech Degree in any discipline.


 

MS in Library and Information Science (MSLIS)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.


 

Junior Research Fellowships (JRF)

Specialization:

  • Statistics
  • Mathematics
  • Computer Science

Eligibility:

Statistics:  Candidate  must have M.Stat Degree from ISI, or M.A/M. Sc. or equivalent Degree in Statistics.

Mathematics:  Candidate  must have M. Stat/ M.Math Degree from ISI, or M.A/ M.Sc.or equivalent Degree in Mathematics, or M.E/ M.Tech Degree or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject. 

Computer Science: Candidate  must have M.E/ M.Tech or equivalent Master’s Degree in Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Radio Physics/ Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/ Microwave Communications/ Information Technology/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology with Mathematics as a subject at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, or  an M.Sc./ MCA/ M.A or equivalent Master’s Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronic Sciences/ Computer Science/ Atmospheric Science/ Information Technology/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology with Mathematics as a subject at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.


 

Selection Process

Candidate should secure valid rank in ISI Admission Test 2020 to get admission in all above programs

Candidate can apply online by visiting official website of the institute.

Candidate fill application form properly upload required documents and pay application fee as per instructions given below.

Candidate belongs to reserved categoery please keep ready Caste certificates (Scheduled Caste/Schedules Tribes/Other Backward Classes - Non Creamy Layer) and/or Disability Certificates issued by the appropriate authority

 

Application Fees

• Rs.1250/ - for all Male applicants in the unreserved (General) category

• Rs.750/- for all Female applicants in the unreserved (General) category

• Rs. 625/- for reserved (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD) category candidates

 

Mode of payment:

For online application, the application fee will be collected through the State Bank of India Collect website.

The payment can be made using Net Banking, Debit/ Credit Card or through Challan for cash payment at the SBI Branch.

Candidate needs to pay additional bank charges.
