Minimum marks shall be obtained 60%.

Selection Process: Based on the merit list of one of the following national examinations:

• KVPY-SA

• KVPY-SX
• KVPY-SA and SX Fellows selected through the Empowerment Initiative for SC/ ST candidates,

B.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, a language, and any subject other than the above four.

Selection Process: Valid Score in JEE MAIN.

If successful, the application and counselling will be conducted by the JoSAA as per JoSAA business rules.

Else it will take place via the IISc admissions portal.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

The final selection is based on the performance at an interview.

External Registration Program (ERP)

Eligibility: Only persons engaged in R & D work in Technical / Scientific Institutions/ Industries or R & D Establishments are eligible.

There is no age limit.

Qualifying in one of the national entrance tests like CSIR-UGC NET for JRF, UGC-NET for JRF, DBT JRF, ICMR JRF, GATE, NBHM is desirable.

Further, the candidate should have completed two years of full time employment in the present organization.

Selection Process: will be based on performance in an interview to be conducted at IISc

Reservation for OBC/ SC/ ST/Persons with disability (PWD) and Kashmiri-Migrant (KM) candidates: As per the Government of India regulations. Grade / class of qualifying examination is relaxed to a “pass class” for SC/ ST candidates.

2. Details (Registration/ Roll Numbers, Paper Code/ Score etc.) of GATE / CEED.

3. Payment Option : Decide on the mode of payment you prefer towards the application fee. Mode of payment available – Online – Net banking, Visa Card/ Master Card, Debit/ Credit Cards.   The Application fee is Rs 800 for GN/ EWS/ OBC & Rs. 400 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates, bank charges are extra.

4. A scanned image of your passport size photograph (to be uploaded).
