ICFAI University (IU), Jharkhand offers following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

B.Tech (4 year)

Specialization:

• Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
• Data Science & Artificial Intelligence
• Mechanical Engineering
• Mining Engineering

Eligibility: Pass in 10+2 with 45% aggregate or its equivalent with pass in each of the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects. The applicant should fulfill the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board through which the applicant has appeared for the qualifying examination. Final year 10+2 students awaiting results can also apply.

B.Tech. (Lateral Entry)

Pass in 3 year Diploma in the respective branch of engineering with at least 45% marks in aggregate. Students in their final year of diploma may also apply.

Selection Process: Candidates for B.Tech Program have to appear for a written test, as per the university regulations. 

Fees:  Rs. 38,000/- Per Semester

BBA (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate must have passed  10+2 in any discipline with minimum 40% aggregate marks.

Final year students awaiting results may also apply.

Selection Process:   On merit basis, screening of applications and interview. While evaluating students for admission, due weightage is given to their academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra cocurricular activities.

BCA (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate must have passed  10+2 in any discipline with minimum 40% aggregate marks.

Eligibility: Candidate should pass in 10+2 or equivalent with 45% and above aggregate marks in any discipline (best of the 5 subjects including English).

Score of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)/ Law School Admission Test (LSAT) will be given weightage.

LLB (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate must hold Bachelor's Degree in Geography.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 40%.

Graduates from other disciplines may submit an application to the Registrar for special consideration. Final year students awaiting results may also apply.

MBA for working professionals (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate must hold Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 45% aggregate marks. 

Candidate should have minimum of two years of work experience.

Ph.D. Program in Management (3 year) (Part time)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Master's Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

A minimum of 3 years service in Industry/Banking/Financial Services/ Government/ Academia etc.

Selection Process: Valid Score in Entrance Test.

Applicants holding, M.Phil. Degree or qualified in UGC-NET in the same or allied discipline, in which Ph.D is proposed to be pursued, will be exempted from appearing for the Research Aptitude Test.

Fees:  Rs. 45,000/- Per Semester

Polytechnic Information Technology (3 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold 10th from recognised board.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 45% in each of the subjects - Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Selection Process: The selection of applicants into the Program is made through screening of application and interview. While evaluating students for admission, due weightage is given to their academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra co-curricular activities.

Fees: Rs. 22,000/- Per Semester

Certificate program in Digital Agricultural Management (8 weeks)

Eligibility: Candidate should be a Graduate from recognised university/ institute.

The medium of instruction for the program is English.

Fees: Rs. 4000/- Total

ICFAI University Admission Process 2023

Online Application:

Candidates can apply online on university website by filling up the application form and make payment of Rs. 500/- for all programs and Rs. 1,000/- for Ph.D towards the cost using Credit/ Debit Card (Visa/ Master Card/ Citibank Card) or Internet banking option using secure internet payment gateway.

Applicants applying online should attach their scanned color photograph along with the online application.

Offline Application:

Visit official website of the institute to download application form.

Fill the Application Form in Capital Letters.

Provide all the available information under appropriate sections.

Make sure to sign the Application Form.

Retain a photocopy of the completed Application Form.

Enclose a Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- (drawn in favour of 'The ICFAI University, Jharkhand - Fee Collection A/c', payable at Ranchi).

For Ph.D Rs. 1,000/-

Attested Copies of Certificates :

1. Applicants have to enclose attested copies of the following certificates (Attestation should be done by any Gazetted Officer/Principal of the College). 
2. Date of Birth Certificate/Class 10th Certificate.
3. Marksheet of Class 10+2/Degree certificate (as may be applicable).
4. Domicile Certificate.
5. Any other certificates pertaining to academic and other activities.
