Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (DRPCAU): Admissions 2023

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (DRPCAU) invites eligible candidates to take admission in the following programs for the academic year 2023-2024

UG Programs

B.Tech (4 year)

Specialization:

• Biotechnology
• Agriculture Engineering 

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam in Science from recognised board with PCM/ PCMB.

The medium of instruction in the admitting university will be English.

The Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, OBC (NCL), UPS, EWS categories and minimum 40% marks in aggregate for SC, ST, Transgender, PwD categories. 

Indian Nationals of at least 16 years of age as on 31.08.2023 are eligible to apply for the examination.

No relaxation will be given regarding the minimum age limit. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in ICAR AIEEA.

Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc) (4 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam in Science with PCM/  PCB from recognised board.

The medium of instruction in the admitting university will be English.

The Candidate should have obtained minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, OBC (NCL), UPS, EWS categories and minimum 40% marks in aggregate for SC, ST, Transgender, PwD categories.

B.Sc. (Hons) (4 year)

Specialization:

• Agriculture
• Community Science
• Horticulture

Eligibility: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam in Science with PCM/  PCB/ PCMB from recognised board.

PG Programs

 MBA (2 year)

Specialization:

• Rural Development

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Degree of B.Sc. or B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture/ Horticulture/Forestry/ Sericulture/ B. Tech. Bio-Technology/ B.Tech. Dairy Technology/ B.V Sc. & A.H./ B.Sc. Home Science/B.Sc. Community Science/ B.Tech. Food Technology/ FoodScience/ Agriculture Marketing & Co-operation/Commercial Agri-Business Management/ B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering/ BFSCc  from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be secured 60%.

Age: The minimum age is 21 years as on 31st July, of the academic year but not more than 50 years.

No relaxation regarding minimum age limit.

Final year candidate can apply for the course.

Selection Process: Valid Score in XAT/ CAT/ MAT/ ICAR AIEEA (PG).

Foreign / NRI/ PIO/ SAARC/ ASIAN/ AGFRICAN National for admission can directly apply RPCAU, Pusa.

Master of Fisherier Science (MFSc) (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a BFSc  Degree from recognised institute/ university.

Minimum marks shall be secured 60%.

Candidates of SC and ST categories with 55% marks in aggregate are eligible.

Indian Nationals not below 19 years as on 31st August 2023 are eligible to appear in the exam.

No relaxation is permissible regarding the minimum age limit.

Foreign / NRI/ PIO/ SAARC/ ASIAN/ AGFRICAN National for admission can directly apply RPCAU, Pusa.

Selection Process: Valid Score in ICAR AIEEA (PG).

Interested candidate can apply by sending email and speed post both.

the candidate has to submit filled application along with origibal Demand Draft in favour of “Comptroller, RPCAU, Pusa payable at PNB, Pusa (Branch Code PUNB0451200)”, and self attested documents.

The application along with original Demand Draft self attested copies of each certificate/ documents in sealed envelope superscribing “The application form from MBA (RM) candidates (Advertisement No.– Admission-03/2024)”

A soft copy (i.e. single PDF only) of duly filled application form should also be sent on email : dyregistrar.acad@rpcau.ac.in

Required documents (self attested):

1. Marks sheet / certificate /Transcripts of school final, Intermediate, Graduation
2. XAT/CAT/MAT score Card.
3. Medical fitness certificate.
4. Two passport size color photos.
5. Any other information as per prescribed formats.
6. Caste Certificate as per Govt. of India. 

Application fee Rs. 1,000/- for Genera/OBC, and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates.
