Centre for Biotechnology, Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (CBPIMS) offers M.Sc. programs for the academic year 2020-2021

B.Sc. + M.Sc. (Integrated) in Medical Biotechnology (5 year)

Eligibility:  Candidate should have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with English; securing minimum 40% marks. In aggregate of the subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Mathematics.

The Backward class candidates must attach a copy of the Cast Certificate along with the application form.

A candidate must be Indian National, the Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate/ Additional District Magistrate/ Chief Metropolitan or a valid passport shall constitute the proof of Nationality.

The Candidates must be 17 years of age.

Selection Process:  Admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board. 

Fees: Rs. 36,000/- Per Year 

M.Sc. in Biotechnology (2 year)

Eligibility:  Candidates must have passed any of the following qualifying examination from recognized Indian university with minimum 50% marks (40% for the

i. Bachelor degree in any stream of Science with Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences (Botany/Zoology)/

ii. BAMS/ B. Pharm/ BHMS/BUMS

iii. B.Sc. Agri Biotechnology

iv. MBBS, BDS, Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary and Fishery Sciences

Candidate shall be medically fit.

Selection Process: Admission is based on the marks obtained in B.Sc. or equivalent examination from a recognized University. 

Fees: Rs. Rs. 56,000/- Per Year

Candidate who want to apply for the courses may obtain prospectus and application form fron the following ways

1) By sending a request letter to the Director, Centre for Biotechnology along with D.D. for Rs. 300/- in favour of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences- Deemed to be University.

2) By downloading from the website www.pravara.com and submitting the downloaded Application Form along with a D.D. for Rs. 300/-

3) From the Counter of Center for Biotechnology on cash payment of Rs. 300/- on working days from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

4) The Application Form should be attached with the Xerox copy of the following certificates:

i. SSC Passing Certificate

ii. SSC Mark sheet

iii. HSC Passing certificate

iv. HSC Mark sheet

v. Caste & Caste validity certificate (if applicable)

vi. Leaving certificate

vii. Migration Certificate

viii. Identity proof (Aadhar / Driving License / Pan card / Passport)
