Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) offers admission in following programs through entrance test for the academic year 2023-2024

B.A B.Ed (4 year)

Seat: 50

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from any recognized board/ university.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% for General / OBC and 45% marks for SC / ST candidate.

Selection Process: Valid Score in CUET (UG) .

Fees: Rs. 23,436/- First Year


 

B.Sc. B.Ed (4 year)

Seats: 50

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream from any recognized board/ university. 

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% for General / OBC and 45% marks for SC / ST candidate.

Selection Process: Valid Score in CUET (UG) .

Fees: Rs. 25,436/- First Year


 

B.A LLB (Hons) (5 year)

Seats: 120

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from any recognized board/ university. 

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% for General / OBC and 45% marks for SC / ST candidate.

M.A. in Mathematics: Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree from any recognised university in Mathematics/ Statistics but should have studied Mathematics as a subject in all the 3 years.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55% for General / OBC and 50% marks for SC / ST candidate.

 

M.A. in Psychology: Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree with Psychology/ Human Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Life Sciences/Medical Science/ Engineering.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% for General / OBC and 45% marks for SC / ST candidate.

Selection Process for all above streams: Valid Score in CUET (PG).

M.Sc. in Psychology: Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree with Psychology/ Human Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Life Sciences/Medical Science/ Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognised university for General / OBC candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology:  Candidate should have passed Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology or any branch of Biological Science (Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Bioscience/ Environmental Science/ Biomedical etc.) or B.Sc. (Hons) in Zoology/ Botany/ Chemistry or B.Sc. / Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. of three year duration with any of the two subject among Zoology, Botany & Chemistry in 3rd year with a minimum of 55% marks for General / OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ ST candidates from any recognised university.

M.Sc. in Bioinformatics:  Candidate should have passed Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences / Agricultural Science / Pharmaceutical Science/Veterinary Science/ Medical Science / Mathematics/ Physics/Chemistry /Computer Science/Information Technology or Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. with 55% marks for General/OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates from any recognised university.

M.Sc. in Life  Science:  Candidate should have passed Bachelor's degree in any branch of Biological Sciences (Botany/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Bioscience/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ Agricultural Science/ Biomedical) or Integrated B.Sc B.Ed. with a minimum of 55 % marks for General/OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.

M.Sc. in Environmental Science: Candidate should have passed B.Sc. in any basic science subjects such as Zoology/ Botany/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Life Sciences/ Geology/ Agricultural Science/ Environmental Science/ Ecology/ Biological Science/ Natural Resource Management/ Water Resource Management or Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. with a minimum of 55 % marks for General/OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ ST candidates from any recognised university.

M.Sc. in Computer Science:  Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree from any recognised University in Science (CS/ IT/ Electronics with Mathematics) / BCA with a minimum of 55% marks for General /OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates and having Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level.

M.Sc. in Mathematics: Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree from any recognised University in Mathematics/ Statistics but should have studied Mathematics as a subject in all the 3 years with a minimum of 55% marks for General / OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ ST candidates.

M.Sc. in Statistics: Candidate should have passed Bachelor's (New UGC) Hons. Degree from any recognised University with Statistics/Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/ Mathematics /Computer Science but must have studied both Mathematics and Statistics as subjects for at  least 2 years /4 Semester with a minimum of 50 % marks for General / OBC candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates in the qualifying degree.

M.Sc. in Physics: Candidate should have passed B.Sc. with Physics or Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed with a minimum of 55 % marks for General / OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates from any recognised university.

M.Sc. in Chemistry: Candidate should have passed B.Sc. Degree or its equivalent with Chemistry as one of the main subject or Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. from a recognized university with minimum of 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate or in Honours for General /OBC and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ ST candidates.

Selection Process for all above streams: Valid Score in CUET (PG).


 

LLM (2 year)

Seats: 30

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a  Bachelor’s Degree in Law, approved by the Bar Council of India, conducted by a university/ college duly recognized by the UGC. 

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% for General / OBC and 45% marks for SC / ST candidate. 

Selection Process: Valid Score in CUET (PG).

Fees: Rs. 27,436/- First Year


 

M.Com (2 year)

Seats: 35

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed Bachelor's in Commerce from any recognised university.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% for General / OBC and 45% marks for SC / ST candidate.

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed B.Ed. or Four Year Integrated B.A B.Ed/B.Sc. B.Ed. Degree from any recognised university/ institution.

Eligibility: Candidate should hold Master's Degree in relevant stream from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% or equivalent grade and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ EWS candidates.

Selection Process: Candidates who have qualified any national level examinations (like NET/JRF of UGC/CSIR, ICMR, ICAR, GATE, GPAT and DBT-JRF etc.), sponsored candidates, teacher fellowship holders and eligible regular faculty members of CURAJ can apply for registration.

Students securing at least 50% marks (UR category) and 45% (SC/ ST/ EWS categories) in the combined score of the exam and presentation and interview will be eligible to be considered for admission as per the merit list.


 

Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) Admission Process 2023

Applications should be submitted ONLINE only.

OFFLINE applications will NOT be accepted.

Applicants are required to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number.

They should keep email id and mobile number active during the entire admission process, so they  may get any important message from university regarding entrance exam.

Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:

Step-1: Register for Online Registration using your own Email ID and Mobile No. and note down system generated Application Number.

Step-2: Complete the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number.

Step-3: Upload visible scanned images of: (i) a recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background; (ii) candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb)

Step-4: Pay prescribed fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI and Wallet, keep proof of fee paid for future reference.

All the 4 Steps can be done together or at separate timings.

After the submission of Online Application Form (i.e successful completion of Step-4),Confirmation Page of the Application Form, should be downloaded and a printout of the samemay be retained for future reference. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Formwill be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate.

In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the prescribed Fee, thecandidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway integrator for ensuring the successfulpayment. 

The candidate should keep the following ready before filling of the online Application Form:

  1. A computer with proper internet connectivity,
  2. The particulars of a valid Government ID proof,
  3. The Date of Birth (as mentioned in Class X Board Certificate),
  4. Govt. Identity Details like Aadhar Number (last 4 digits) / Election Card (EPIC No.) / Passport number/Ration Card Number / Bank Account Number / PAN Number / Other valid Govt. IDs,
  5. Educational Qualification details,
  6. Actual category viz General (UR) / EWS / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / SC / ST, as the case may be, correctly mentioned in the relevant column
  7. Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background,
  8. Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb)
  9. Four (04) Cities of your Choice,
  10. Bank account details for payment of fee,
  11. A valid e-mail ID as important communications will be made in this e-mail ID,
  12. A valid mobile number as important information via SMS will be sent to this number.

Fee for CUET UG

  • Unreserved and other categories: Rs. 750/-
  • OBC(NCL)/ EWS Students: Rs. 700/-
  • SC/ ST/ Third gender/ PwBD: Rs. 650/-
  • Centres Out SideIndia: Rs. 3,750/-

Fee for CUET PG

  • Unreserved and other categories: Rs. 1,000/-
  • OBC(NCL)/ EWS Students: Rs. 800/-
  • SC/ ST/ Third gender/PwBD: Rs. 750/-
  • PwBD: Rs. 700/-
  • Centres Out Side India: Rs. 5,000/-

An applicant can further apply upto Seven Test Papers by paying additional application fees of Rs. 500/- (Generalapplicants) or Rs. 400/- (OBC-NCL/ Gen-EWS/ SC/ ST/ Third Gender/ PwBD Applicants) per Test Paper for PG Programs.

Note:  An applicant can make payment through net-banking/debit/credit card/ UPI/ Wallet.

GST and other taxes as applicable by Govt. of India/ Bank to be paid by the candidate.

Applicants are advised to read Payment instructions carefully before paying the application fee.
