M.Sc. Mathematics:  Candidate should hold a B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics as main subject from recognised university/ institute.

Degree in Basic Science / Agriculture Science or Applied Subjects including Food Processing Technology, Food Science and Technology, Food and Nutrition, FoodTechnology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology,Agricultural Process Engineering, Chemical/BiochemicalEngineering, Veterinary Sciences, Horticulture, Fisheries,etc.  from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55% or equivalent grade for General category, 50% for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD cadidates.

M.Sc. Environmental Science and Technology: Candidate should hold a B.Sc. Degree in any branch of Life Sciences/ MBBS or BDS from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

In case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

M.Sc. Human Genetics: Candidate should hold a B.Sc. Degree in any branch ofAnimal/Medical

Sciences/Life Sciences from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

In case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process for all streams: Valid Score in  CUET (PG).


 

 

M.Tech (2 year)

Specialization:

  • Computer Science & Technology
  • Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a B.E/ B.Tech Degree with Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Communication from a recognized Indian or foreign University/ Graduates (AMIETE/AMIE) from Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in Computer Science & Engineering.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55%.

In case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD, minimum marks shall be obtained 50%.

Selection Process: Valid Score in GATE/  CUET (PG).

MPA in Theatre/ Dance/ Music/ Drama (2 year)

Seats: 15

Eligibility:  Candidate should hold a B.A Degree from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 55% or equivalent grade for General category, 50% for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD cadidates.

Selection Process: Note: Selection will be done on the basis of Aptitude test of 100 marks with 60% weightage to Practical and 40% weightage to viva-voce examination of the candidates shortlisted on the basis of entrance examination.

LLM (1 year)

Seats: 20

Eligibility: Candidate should hold LLB Degree or equivalent from recognised university/ institute.

Minimum marks shall be obtained 50% of marks (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PWD) in the aggregate in all the 3 years / 5 years of B.L / LLB Degree Course.

Selection Process: Valid Score in   CUET (PG).


 

M.Ed (2 year)

M.PEd (2 year)

Eligibility: Candidate should hold a Degree of

(a) Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent with at least 50% marks.

Or

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education with at least 50% marks.

(b) The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD and other categories shall be as per the rule of the Central Government / State Government, whichever is applicable.

MLISc (1 year)

b. Candidates who have secured DST-INSPIRE Fellowship.

c. Government-sponsored candidates and teacher fellowship holders.


 

Central University of Punjab (CUP) Admission Process 2023

Applications should be submitted ONLINE only.

OFFLINE applications will NOT be accepted.

Applicants are required to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number.

They should keep email id and mobile number active during the entire admission process, so they  may get any important message from university regarding entrance exam.

Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:

Step-1: Register for Online Registration using your own Email ID and Mobile No. and note down system generated Application Number.

Step-2: Complete the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number.

Step-3: Upload visible scanned images of: (i) a recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background; (ii) candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb)

Step-4: Pay prescribed fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI and Wallet, keep proof of fee paid for future reference.

All the 4 Steps can be done together or at separate timings.

After the submission of Online Application Form (i.e successful completion of Step-4),Confirmation Page of the Application Form, should be downloaded and a printout of the samemay be retained for future reference. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Formwill be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate.

In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the prescribed Fee, thecandidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway integrator for ensuring the successfulpayment. 

The candidate should keep the following ready before filling of the online Application Form:

  1. A computer with proper internet connectivity,
  2. The particulars of a valid Government ID proof,
  3. The Date of Birth (as mentioned in Class X Board Certificate),
  4. Govt. Identity Details like Aadhar Number (last 4 digits) / Election Card (EPIC No.) / Passport number/Ration Card Number / Bank Account Number / PAN Number / Other valid Govt. IDs,
  5. Educational Qualification details,
  6. Actual category viz General (UR) / EWS / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / SC / ST, as the case may be, correctly mentioned in the relevant column
  7. Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background,
  8. Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb)
  9. Four (04) Cities of your Choice,
  10. Bank account details for payment of fee,
  11. A valid e-mail ID as important communications will be made in this e-mail ID,
  12. A valid mobile number as important information via SMS will be sent to this number.

Fee for CUET UG

  • Unreserved and other categories: Rs. 750/-
  • OBC(NCL)/ EWS Students: Rs. 700/-
  • SC/ ST/ Third gender/ PwBD: Rs. 650/-
  • Centres Out SideIndia: Rs. 3,750/-

Fee for CUET PG

  • Unreserved and other categories: Rs. 1,000/-
  • OBC(NCL)/ EWS Students: Rs. 800/-
  • SC/ ST/ Third gender/PwBD: Rs. 750/-
  • PwBD: Rs. 700/-
  • Centres Out Side India: Rs. 5,000/-

An applicant can further apply upto Seven Test Papers by paying additional application fees of Rs. 500/- (Generalapplicants) or Rs. 400/- (OBC-NCL/ Gen-EWS/ SC/ ST/ Third Gender/ PwBD Applicants) per Test Paper for PG Programs.

Note:  An applicant can make payment through net-banking/debit/credit card/ UPI/ Wallet.

GST and other taxes as applicable by Govt. of India/ Bank to be paid by the candidate.
